Q: What is the adult dose of the medicine? How many doses per 24 hours?

A: Hi, thank you for your question about the Up & Up Loperamide Suspension. The recommended adult dose is 30 mL after the first loose stool; 15 mL after each subsequent loose stool; but no more than 60 mL in 24 hours. The medicine did its job and got my littles (2 different children, different times) to stop having diarrhea so they could rest finally. However, the taste is really bad and it may have been a one time use now that they're aware of how bad it is. Neither is ready for pills, though, so we'll keep this and just have to bargain most likely.

I have ibsd and have always used the Imodium tablets, which take forever. As soon as I tried the very first dose of this liquid I knew that I'd never take the pills again! Works FAST, and I couldn't care less about the bad taste. Lololol
