Bought a tropical drink maker for my wife's gift. She loves it, but I'm one using it. Makes smooth drnks with no ice chunks. Only downsides are small pitcher and hard to empty ice container. Overall, worth it for fun parties. Highly recommend for a cool escape.

we have only used this machine 4 times in 2 years and it's broken. did contact warranty "sorry out of warranty" This cost a fortune and we had thought it would last and last. This is our 2nd machine and I will not purchase another.

Mold growing inside ice crusher

I got this for xmas a year ago and while I love it, I have quit using the ice crusher on top because the metal ring under the hopper has mold growing on it and it won't come apart to clean it. I now put the ice in the pitcher. I can't believe such an expensive machine has such a huge flaw.

I purchased the item on June 7, 2018. I used it a couple of times last summer; worked great, loved it. I even purchased the travel case so that I could keep it nice when I stored it. However, last Saturday night, May 17, 2019, I tried using it while hosting a party and the machine leaked a lot of Margarita from the bottom of the drink dispenser and water from the bottom of the machine under the metal plate. I unscrewed the drink dispenser thinking that I didn't have a tight seal but noticed a crack where the blade is which may be why the liquid is leaking. But, I don't know where the water underneath the metal plate is coming from. Just a heads up. Its a real fun machine, I am so bummed cause I loved the drinks I was making from it. Luckily; however, I am under the one year manufacture warranty so hopefully the manufacture stands by their product. After reading other reviews,however, the machine doesn't seem to be lasting longer than a year.

This machine doesn't work well at all. Either the ice doesn't shave correctly or the spout to the pitcher is too small and clogs. I wind up having to run it multiple times to get a half pitcher. I do not recommend.

Really wanted the KeyWest unit but purchased this after deciding the dispenser might be kind of nice and we are happy with the device. The machine came with one of the button labels messed up but didnt feel it was worth requesting an exchange. I highly recommend the Bali

I bought this gift as a house warming gift to my sister and was so excited to have drinks from it when I went over. Sadly the spinner doesn’t function and we couldn’t get the full use of the machine. Gonna return it.

It is so easy to operate and surprisingly easy to clean. I bought this as a test to see if it was really worth it. Kept the box and all the packaging just in case. I threw the box out this week. It is a keeper. Of course, we assembled it, poured in who knows what and turned it on. Our first batch was too runny. It takes awhile to figure out how to get the consistency just right especially when you don't even try to follow one of their recipes to understand the volume of liquid to ice. However, when we're not sure, the option of adding the liquid and using the manual shave/blend feature is the way to go to get the consistency just right. In addition, the water reservoir is an awesome feature that keeps the ice runoff from dripping into and watering down the drinks. We've used it five times so far for various types of drinks using fresh fruit, frozen fruit, chilled espresso, etc. We are hosting an outdoor party this weekend and plan to use it a lot. Wish us luck!

I went w this model because I thought it was their best without breaking the bank. It’s better than we thought it would be. It’s a workhorse! Probably louder than the other models, but that’s because it has more power. The dispense is a nice advantage as well. Works great unless you add too much ice after it’s normal cycle. Clean up is easy. It is a bit bigger. But overall, very pleased with it.

I have had this machine & used it for about a month now. It has been amazing- produces great, fast margaritas! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that occasionally when it is shaving the ice, the machine will stop due to thinking it does not have the ice top in the "locked" position. I think the vibrations just move it a tad. I also didn't get my promotional goodies delivered... Other than that, it's been great!

Got this machine a little over a year ago and it is just the best. Easy to use and makes really good margaritas. Only down side would be taking it apart to clean. A lot of pieces. Be carful of the shaver blade!! SHARP!

The warranty only last one year... I have owned this almost 2 years and it’s now broke. It shorted out and will not power on. I have blenders that were used more and lasted way longer. Very disappointed. I used it once at a house party and a lot of people were interested. I’ll make sure they don’t make the same mistake.

Hey got the Bali model.Love it.. just one problem. running it for a small gathering it blew a circuit. had to flip the breaker. then the machine won't work.. is there a fuse inside it that could have blown??

Bought this machine and love it! Unfortunately it came with a broken blending blade sealing ring so got a replacement shipped pretty quickly which was nice. Hopefully it won't break again. The only ongoing issue is if you fill it with liquid (mix/tequila) more than half way (above the 48oz line) and set the mixer on "margarita" setting it will fill with too much ice and overflow out the top. This is a bit frustrating as I always have to have a towel under it just in case.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're glad that you love your Bali. The Margarita setting is pre-set and should have 22 fluid ounces in the jar for a full chamber of margaritas. Try using the recipe included in the manual for it to not overflow. It's five o'clock somewhere!
