Mattel Barbie Mega Construx Building Set | Horse Stables

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters (5 and 7) both truly enjoyed assembling this Barbie Horse Stable. The instructions were very easy for them to understand and complete on their own. They had a very fun time building and then playing with this kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old is obsessed with Barbie's. I thought this would be a great gift for her. It took her quite awhile to get it together, but once it was finished she really enjoys playing with it. I have to add that she is not a huge Lego fan, and doesn't do a lot of building toys, so this was a bit of a challenge for her. The characters are cute, and kind of funny looking, but she enjoyed it. I would recommend this product, the child may just need a little assistance getting it put together.

She sits there and builds it over and over again. She thinks some of the accessories are funny. Her favorite is the little carrot. She walks around with it and giggles.

The 3 scenarios provide such a wonderful experience, although I do think I may have been more into building this than my 4 year old! Creating each little scene reminded me of the first time I got a Barbie play set - it was a soda shop and just the coolest thing! I really enjoyed asked Dakota to find the pieces to use to create the structures. His little fingers have a hard time putting these together completely but with teamwork we made it happen! I also really enjoyed the diversity of the riders. Great activity all along! Now, I must go rebuild them all because my kiddo has taken them all apart lol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really similar to other block but for some reason we had a hard time getting some of the pieces together. My girls loved the accessories for Barbie and her friends... ponytails and necklaces. They really enjoyed putting this together and are still playing with it - which as a parent is definitely a plus. It was nice to have Ken in there too and not just girls. And the set was big enough that my two girls and myself could all play with minimal fighting. The instructions were pretty easy to follow as well... definitely a good idea to have an adult or older child there to assist though.

If Kidlet was doing the review, it'd get 100/10. however, I am choosing to take away a star for the quality. While they have improved over the years, they are still not the best quality. the heart-shaped sheets just feel flimsy. we really liked the accessories, the clothes, the hats and hangars and animals and everything. It's just not as well done as it could have been. the figures' arms are either too tight to move easily or too loose to stay in posed positions. sometimes when pieces snap together it feels like they might shatter instead. the accessories, however, are fantastic, they feel thick and sturdy. the silicone hats and helmets and skirts all feel thick and sturdy too. the instructions were great. very clear on exactly where pieces need to go (even using helpful color-coded dots to mark which sides go where!) and we had no problems putting it all together.

With stable, people and horses, to pretend food and medals, it has inspired hours of play for my preschooler (and her big brother!). We love that it includes boy and girl figures for my two kids to play together at home. The pieces are easy enough for young hands to manipulate and put together, although you will want to give them some help and pointers to set it up the first time or two. Your child will probably be able to figure out how to put it together with the instructions if they have built with building blocks before, but if not, it is a great activity to do together. It is a pretty realistic set and will encourage them to want to learn more about horses. It is easy to store when finished with play. I highly recommend this imaginative building toy!

They love the interchangeable accessories and all the mini animals. Very well made and beyond cute! The whole family had fun with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters were very excited to open this toy. I have a 4 year old and 7 year old and they built this toy together. My 4 year old had trouble pushing some of the building blocks together so my older daughter helped and had no issues. My girls are both big fans of Barbie and lego blocks so this is the perfect toy for them. They loved all the little accessories it came with. I feel that the toy is made well and good quality. They built the set and then played for hours. My older daughter said she wished the hair came off so she could switch the hair around. Other than that, they were very happy with this toy. It will be well loved!

It teaches follow instructions, patient and communication with others. My granddaughter loves the barn and the interchangeable hair pieces. Putting the people on the horse. She has a passion for Barbie’s and this horse set let her use her imagination! There are so many different pieces and options for her to have fun with!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls got the chance to play with this over the weekend and they are having so much fun. It comes with horses and some farm animals. They like building the horse stables and having their imagination run wild. The little Barbie can even ride on the horse. It’s relatively easy for my 3 and 5 year old to build. They can also do some gardening. Overall, my kids loved it and played for hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, we are a HUGE Barbie fan family! We literally have Barbies everywhere! This set is a must-have for any Barbie fans, young and old. My 5 1/2 year old enjoyed helping build it. It's colorful, it comes with plenty of animals, different hats, accessories, etc. Easy for little fingers to grab and snap together. The characters are adorable and there is so much detail to bring it all together. The instructions were also easy to follow as we start to bring our daughter into the imaginative world of building blocks. Everything you would expect from the Barbie brand! We are looking forward to expanding our MEGA Barbie sets in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was a run away hit with my kids. We are a big lego house so we weren't really sure how this would go over as it wasn't traditional legos. That being said, they spent HOURS putting it together and playing with it. The pieces went together really well and the directions were easy to understand even for my 6 year old. Very cute set that will be tons of fun for my girls for hours of entertainment.

Her imagination can go anywhere building the stables. It is such a neat idea and so awesome how much Barbie has expanded.

I helped them out a little with the instructions but they are very clear and easy to follow. I love all the details such the flowers, and changing skirts, the dog is so cute too. A great toy for kids and the quality is very good and durable.
