My grandpa loves these! Nights are now much easier. Instead of using 4 of the Depends brand per night, he now only uses 1-2 of this Mckesson brand per night. Very happy we switched to these, they are great and much more absorbent than other brands!

I'm not sure Mediums would have absorbed any better, but I ordered Large because I am a Large, and these definitely require some type of extra supoort pant to keep in place. They absorb a fair amount, but I would not consider them an extended wear garment. They have repeatedly leaked, unfortunately.
