Q: how does uv remove germs on items? if I put my fingers in there will it also remove germs?

A: Good morning, The Munchkin 59S Mini UV Sterilizer will kill 99% of the most common bacteria. Please note that this device disinfects surfaces exposed to the light. Items must have unobstructed access to UVC light to be effective.

Q: My Munchkin Sterilizer came with a test paper that didnt react to the sterilizer. Does that mean the serilizer does not work or the test paper is old, or faulty?

We use the sterilizer for our dental "night guards," and I like the confidence that they are extra clean and germ-free. I like that it features re-chargeable batteries, and the performance and ease-of-use is superior product to the battery-powered version.

I use the binky wipes first, I let them dry & then I sterilize them. Only reason i gave it a 4 is cos; it's a bit bulky, thought it'd be smaller then the older one & it makes my natural binkies smell funny after. Other then that it's handy.

I have been looking for a UV sterilizer for my toothbrush heads for my electric toothbrush. This one is perfect!!! The price point is wonderful and makes it a great value. What I really like is that the product details state that this UV sterilizer has been tested by independent labs. I have not tried to find the results of these lab tests. But it is still nice to know that this company has taken the effort to test there product and insure its effectiveness. The other thing I like is that it does not produce Ozone and does not contain mercury. Not sure if that is a common issue with other UV sterilizing products, but it is nice to know they are not a concern with this product. Over all while I have no way of actually knowing if this product does anything at all besides turn on and light up. I think if you want a UV sterilizer for very small items this one is likely one of the best.

This sterilizer is one of the easiest I have ever used. It is small enough to take on the go, and because it doesn't use water I don't have to worry about it leaking in the diaper bag. I especially found it useful when I took my baby to the park or a play area where the pacifier inevitably gets left on the ground. I do wish that it was bigger because I could use it for far more than pacifiers and bottle nipples, but it's great for what it offers. I received this product in exchange for my honest feedback.

Very convenient size for travel and great to have for peace of mind. Used this for emergency situations when I could not sterilize a new pacifier and nipples for bottles that could not be run through larger sterilizer while traveling. I can see so many other uses for it in a pinch, such as for menstrual cups or mouth guards. Being rechargeable is a huge improvement on their previous model.

This sterilizer is so convenient and easy to take everywhere. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and is conveniently hanging from the strap of the diaper bag. It’s light and compact, making it a perfect addition for everyday on the go use. It charges quickly and lasts for days. No more worrying about a dropped pacifier ever again!

this is such a cool product. With covid-19 still running rampid can never be too safe but I feel like this comes in handy with all the different types of colds and flu. The product is super easy to use and has such a long battery life. I personally find it the perfect size to fit in my pocket, diaper bag, purse, and even my baby carrier. Every baby drop their pacifiers and this is a lot easier to use those white. Plus it gives you peace of mind that it's actually killing off all the bad germs. I feel like I will get tons of you sell this product. I did receive this product for free or exchange for my honest and unbiased review

I am so happy I came across this especially during this pandemic. I am always worried about kids’ safety especially that goes in their mouth and this sanitizer gives me satisfaction that my kids won’t have germ from their pacifiers. It is portable and can be taken anymore. It is so cute and small in size. I recommend this to everyone.

I absolutely love this product! It is so hands free and amazing. I love that you can just snap it on the back of a diaper bag. We all know we ain’t leaving without a diaper bag. I’m a freak when my baby drops her pacifier, especially when in public. This gives me so much peace of mind. I do use the munchkin arm and hammer pacifier wipes to wipe it off and then I just throw it in the sterilizer and I am at ease. Love not having to find a sink to wash it off. Makes life a lot more convenient! Because once my baby figured out how to take it out her mouth and throw it that’s all she does. I highly recommend this product! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

The UV Pacifier Sterilizer from Munchkin is great. My kid seems to go above and beyond to drop his pacifier anywhere and everywhere. Sometimes you just don't know when it's safe to just hand back to him which is why this product is amazing. It's as simple as grabbing the pacifier, putting it into the sterilizer, and pressing the power button. Once you do so the device cleans that pacifier from germs in about a minute or so. Then right back to your child. Another couple of features included is that the battery is rechargeable and charges rather quickly. It also comes with a strap to attach to a bag so you don't have to fumble around looking for it and it's handy all the time when needed. You can't go wrong! I definitely recommend this to all.

The Munchkin Portable Electric Sterilizer is definitely a Mom’s dream come true. Every parent has experienced their baby either dropping or throwing their pacifier on the floor. Like every other Mom I did what I was taught by my Mom. Rinse it off under running water. Well those days are completely behind me as of now. The electric sterilizer cleans pacifiers, bottle nipples, and teething rings. It kills bacteria, and viruses. I no longer worry about whether it’s clean enough to give back to my baby. I feel totally confident this small sterilizer 100% cleans them. The attached strap allows me to connect it to the diaper bag. I take it everywhere I go when traveling with my baby. Made with great quality and I highly recommend it.

This pacifier sanitizer is the way to go. It sanitized in 1 min which is amazing with covid 19 still spreading. I would highly recommend to a new mom worried about properly cleaning the pacifier. It's the first time I had to buy pacifiers since my baby likes them so keeping them clean is a constant struggle. I love it because it's portable and one charge lasts days even keeps and it could also be used as a case for the pacifier.

This product is AMAZING, especially with the current global pandemic. I am super picky with keeping things clean, especially products that are for my child and particularly ones that she may drop on the ground. Having this handy in my diaper bag to sterilize her pacifiers on-the-go has been fantastic. I would recommend this to any parent, nanny, daycare, etc. It is compact and can really go anywhere. This is such a great little sterilizer! I love that it's small enough to be hooked onto my purse or a diaper bag without being in the way. I can sanitize pacifiers and other small objects in a matter of minutes. The portability for on the go use and the convenience of the built in rechargeable battery is awesome! During these covid-19 times we are living in I would highly recommend it!

If you have a baby who's dependent on a binky like me, you NEED this sterilizer! Before I had to carry at least 5 binkys on me in case she launched it across the room (which she does ALL the time!!) This makes it so easy to quickly sterilize on the go. It's an essential for the diaper bag and the battery life lasts very long, I've had it for a few months now and it's still as strong as when I first got it. Best price for the most efficient portable sterilizer -highly recommend!!
