A: Hi Katherine, Please keep in mind this product should only be used on bikini area while using. Irritation or allergic reaction may occur with some people even after prior use with no adverse effect. We would recommend that you do a patch test in a small are where you wish for the hair to be removed and wait a full 24 hours. If no irritation persist after 24 hours then you can proceed with the full application. We would also recommend reading all directions and warnings prior to use. This is my second time using this product. My first time, I used a thin layer of it. Because I just wanted to be careful. It did not take all of the hair off. So the second time, I went by the instructions. And applied a "thick generous amount". So at the 3 to 4 minute mark. It started burning. I tried to hurry and remove it in the irritated area. I had to quickly stop the bleeding and clean the area. As well as remove the product from the other areas in a timely matter.

I used to use the original nail with the aloe before they made this new bottle of new kind this kind sucks it's the second time I don't use it and my hair is growing back and like three or four days on my legs it didn't used to do this the new formula or ingredients sucks

I used the same bottle i had used a month prior and everything went as its supposed to, but the second time, after a 3 minute application i went to wipe it off and my skin was literally peeling off. Here is a couple pics 3 days later. I was in crazy amounts of pain. Never again!

Followed the directions and it left awful chemical burns. Idk why this is even legal to sell. Debating on if I need to go to the ER. Don’t ever use this product, it doesn’t even take all the hair off.

I brought this product a while back but was a bit skeptical to use it because I am allergic to many things... eg. parabens, methylisothiozolinone, etc. and often experience breakouts. Upon trying it, I was pleasantly surprised because I experienced none!!! Thank you so much for this product. It is a godsend!!!

I have used Nair with aloe for years on my legs. I have sensitive skin so some of the others irritate my legs but have NEVER had any issues with the Nair with Aloe. And it leaves my legs smoother longer than shaving. I always leave it for almost the full 10 mins because my hair is so thick. The new formula starts burning within a few minutes of application and leaves my legs red, itchy and burning after removal. I even gave it a 2nd chance and same thing. PLEASE bring back the old formula!

I have always used Nair products instead of shaving. The old formula never gave me any problems and would remove the hair. This new product caused me to have a rash. I put it on my skin and it immediately started to burn. It didn't even remove the hair but caused me to have a lot of irritation.

I have been using nair for years. My issue is that the new 7.9oz bottles are less in amount but still the same price as the original 9oz bottles. The ingredients are the same with the exception of one. Still, why is there no price drop?

I did a patch test more than 24 hours before full use. My skin was fine with the patch test. After using it 24 hours later my skin broke out, I had red bumps and even bled. I only left it on for 4 minutes and then wiped. It didn’t even remove all of my hair. Not the worst product but did not work for me. It did smell good tho!

I have really thick course hair so the process of shaving has always been a nightmare, so I wanted to give this a try. It worked great for my legs! So per the package allowance I decided to try it on my underarms. I may have let it sit a little longer than I could've, but I still did not exceed the 10 minutes warned on the package. When I went to rinse it off in the shower I could already tell they left some pretty gnarly chemical burns... one way worse than the other for some reason. I applied the same amount with the same processing time for both underarms yet my right underarm has a NASTY chemical burn, to the point that I'm being advised by friends and family to seek medical attention. Not gonna be able to wear deodorant for awhile 😕. So, verdict is, worked great for my legs and ill continue to use it for my legs, hence the two stars. But, despite the bottle saying you can, DO NOT use this stuff on your underarms... seeing all the other reviews on this product it looks like I'm not alone in this experience. This could be easily solved by Nair revoking the packaging saying this can be used on underarms because it shouldn't be.

I been using the basic product now for over 6 years and have experienced NONE of the problems shown in 90% of the reviews. The trick, if there is one, is to know what you are doing and if you feel a tingle, wipe it off, not that difficult. If it accidentally gets on your sensitive skin areas, whip it off. Not really that difficult. I remove body hair because my dermatologist wants me to use skin lotions and they don't do much applied to hair, right?

I have found a routine that works best for my skin when using this product on my legs, exfoliate and lotion, heavily a couple of days before, and then wipe the excess away with a plastic spoon. BUT I noticed they are rebranding this product into a smaller size bottle, 9oz to 7.9oz with no change to the cost. That sucks.
