Q: the description says it makes coffee "including the perfect crema." does this mean it uses milk?

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Jimmy. The layer that forms on top of each brewed coffee is a combination of coffee and air called the crema and is naturally created during the extraction process. Crema is a sign of high-quality coffee and has been a signature feature of our espresso. It does not contain any dairy or additives and will gradually subside as you enjoy your coffee. Q: Is this product usually loud when brewing coffee?

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Jamie. It is normal for all Nespresso machines to make some noise during operation. Please keep in mind the following factors that may be contributing to the noise: • New machines with brand new pumps will produce less noise over time. • If operating without water in the tank, the pump will be louder. • A capsule in the capsule chamber will dampen the noise of the pump. • The machine should be stable, with four rubber feet on the bottom. If any rubber feet are missing, it may cause an abnormal vibration. • The ideal surface for the machine should be solid and flat such as hard wood or a granite countertop. We absolutely love our nespresso! It has been running for years flawlessly and every cup it's perfect. The pods can get pricy but so does good beans when you have a normal espresso machine so there balance. Overall great staple in our house and is always reliable for a good cup of coffee!

I LOVE MY NESPRESSO!!!!! It has saved me so much money. The pods are easy to use and I love the espresso it makes. Its frothy and smooth. It is kind of loud when brewing, but that's fine. You can link it to the app also.

Received the Vertuo Next as a Christmas gift. Having been a Keurig user for many years both at home and work, it was a big change for me. It works well and makes good coffee, but I wish that it had a larger side mount water tank. The pods are much more expensive than those for the Keurig. I do however like the used pod bin and the free recycling bags. Always recycled the Keurig pods but had to pay to do so.

Not even a month into owning it and it needs constant descaling. It’s always a question if I’m gonna get my morning coffee or not. They have no business charging this much for a machine that barely ever works. I don’t have a store close by me where I live so it’s difficult to get potable water from a store, if that’s even something that would help. Very dissatisfied with this product.

I bought this one for the office after having the original coffee machines from Nespresso. I have the original machine at home and love the coffee. This one, keeps erroring out almost everytime I put in a pod. I have to keep unplugging the machine and then trying again until it works. The coffee itself is also sub par. It creates a coffee foam.. not crema, but foam.. when I make espresso. Horrible experience.

Product worked fine until it died 1.5 years in. Nespresso would not do anything except offer to sell me a new machine given that it was out of warranty. 1.5 years for a machine this price is outrageous.

This is the second virtual Nespresso machine that I’ve owned. The first one worked wonderfully, and I took it to work. Not sure of the model name or number, but it had a double wing top that made it easy to lock down the cartridge. This model is very difficult to Puncture and to lock the top down prior to making coffee. The coffee as always is wonderful. The main issue, however, is that it is messy. Concentrated espresso drips down into the capsule container. Even though I run a clean cycle every three or four times I use it, It’s messy in the area where The capsule fits. After ejecting the cartridge and pushing the top down to have it rest in place, it pops up unless I lock it down. Very disappointed. I would probably buy another machine except there don’t appear to be any machines that are Currently available and a different model

Worst coffee machine ever. The amount of times I went to work with a cup of hot water and time wasted waiting for the machine to make something when it would just abruptly stop. The pods are expensive and the ground coffee cup refill is horrible.

I'm not sure why I have had two of this style leak water. The first machine leaked dirty coffee water and my second one just leaks clean water. Either way I have had to put the Nespresso on a raised platform so that I'm not having to wipe the counter all day long. While Nespresso sent us a new machine, I could not be bothered with telling them again that it leaks. My neighbor has had the same problem so I think it is an issue. But if Nespresso is reading this, I would love a solution -- whether it means replacing it with a third machine or a different one! We love the coffee Nespresso makes and have been satisfied with everything else....but it is a bummer that there is always water that comes out through the bottom.

Well. The coffee is amazing. But the machines it comes out of is not. My boy said half of my coffee with it dripping underneath the machine and I barely get any coffee. I’ve descaled it still does the same thing haven’t had it more than a year.

This is our second machine and the second one just stopped working like the first one. We clean it regularly. We did the descaling and everything and it’s only a year old! We love it and the coffee it makes but the last two have not lasted.
