We have had this machine for about a year, makes great coffee when it works properly. Some pods wouldn't work and It would waste the pods (which have become more expensive) The bluetooth also did funny things and we would have to reset everything to make it work again. Also, living in Canada the recycling process changed multiple times and was a pain to get the bags of pods shipped out. Overall not recommended.

Machines not built to last. Our fourth machine has just died due to a motor issue. 18 months old but told out of warranty but they will give us a slight discount on new machine (about 10% off). Between the numerous increases in cost of pods and the latest problem machine we are Giving up and purchasing a different coffee maker.

Wanted to love this machine but the espresso does not come out hot. I have to microwave my espresso to get to the right temperature. Not worth it in my opinion.

Quality is very important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. You may want to use hot water to preheat the cup to keep the coffee hotter longer, and make sure the size of cup you are using matches the size of the blend. A small espresso poured into a large mug, for example, will cool down very quickly. I love my iced coffee and my pocket was taking a hit with how much I was spending so decided to try this machine. I buy the blonde roasts espresso capsules and brew the tastiest breves! I purchased it in October of 25 and haven’t had a single issue, I love that It comes with the frother so I can make my own cold foam ;) don’t understand the bad reviews because this thing is easy to use and clean and it’s fast!

I've had this machine for over a two years and I still love it. I'm the only one who drinks Espresso in my house so it's perfect for when I want a cup any time of the day but can easily make a fresh cup for any one who visits or when my husband feels like having a decaf. I'd definitely buy this machine again.

Bought this a a replacement for my Nespresso Delonghi & it had been a total disappointment. The handle constantly sticks & this machine does not allow for you to run straight water through the lines if the machine has been sitting, you have to use a pod which is wasteful.

I loved my machine while it lasted however after only owning it for 2.5 years it randomly quit one morning. The machine would no longer read the barcodes even with all the recommended actions from nespresso themselves. Sad that you can only get a few years out of these machines and thats it.

Believe it when the reviews say it doesn’t get coffee hot enough. I wanted to be a Nespresso fan but very disappointed. Also, the water tank is very small. Going back to Keurig.

Used, dirty Nespresso machine put on shelves

I purchased the Nespresso Next at Target and was so excited to open it up and use it. When I opened the box, it was missing the included pods and the water tank had water reside all in it. In addition, the frother smelled used. The products were clearly used and put back on the shelf. I reached out to support and they only recommended I return the item. I will be returning the product and buying directly from the Nespresso store. I’m so concerned of the potential mold that can be growing on the coffee machines at the stores.

Just got the white Vertuo next yesterday! So far my house smells amazing. My only complaint and a fault of my own I wish I would have paid more attention to the dimensions. The next is narrow but very long I can’t seem to find a spot anywhere in my kitchen that it will fit nicely. I wish I would have chosen the flat or round head instead for a more square footprint to fit better on the counter as the water reservoir doesn’t seem to be at the back of those which also makes it difficult to get to on the next. This morning while trying to get the very thick stiff power cord out to plug it in it knocked off the water reservoir lid and it sank all the way to the bottom of the water tank. Just personal preference as I have zero experience with Nespresso machines so I’m still learning but if I had to do it again I would choose differently.

Horrible machine!! Always flashing red. I have descaled multiple times, I have cleaned multiple times it works ok for a short time then back to flashing red. It is extremely difficult to troubleshoot. Of course it is out of warranty.

Machine had to be replaced 4 different times (by only refurbished machines) to only break over and over again. When it works, it’s great. But every espresso I would start making after a year the machine would just stop working.

For best maintenance of your Nespresso machine, we recommend to always eject the used capsules after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week, and descale your machine using the Nespresso descaling kit every three months or 300 capsules used, whichever comes first. Piece of junk! Don't buy!

My husband purchased this thing about 6 weeks ago. It worked ok for 5 weeks and now is completely dead. It worked one day and not the next. The button doesn't light up at all. The manual says that if the light isn't on, the machine isn't on. Really? No **** Sherlock. No explanation as to why it isn't on. I plugged it in to various outlets, made sure it was locked properly, the water jug was full and attached properly, tried different pods (wasted 3 expensive limited edition ones) and nothing. It is going in the garbage. I read some negative reviews by people who had their's die in 6 months to a year. They were lucky. Mine didn't even last 2 months!! Inferior product. The 2 or 3 cups I got out of it didn't even taste that great anyway. The flavoured ones didn't actually have a flavour. They just tasted like burnt regular coffee. Will never buy another nespresso product. 0 stars for me on this thing.

Doesn't switch out of descaling mode.

The machine is great, until you need to descale it. I had nothing but issues with descaling this thing. It does not program back to coffee making mode and becomes garbage. I did have it covered under warranty at one point, and it was fixed, lasted another year after the fix and would not get out of descaling mode. Not the only person with this issue, do research before purchasing this is a major issue with these machines. Ended up purchasing a round head nespresso instead.
