Description
The Nespresso VertuoPlus single-serve coffee maker and espresso machine brews 4 single-serve cup sizes just with the touch of a button. Each machine includes a complimentary welcome set with a range of Nespresso Vertuo capsules with unique aroma profiles. Nespresso Coffee and Espresso Machine makes use of dual size single-serve capsules for brewing either coffee or espresso with consistent flavor at the touch of a button. Nespresso VertuoPlus uses large capsule for coffee and small for espresso and has patented Centrifusion extraction technology reads a code on the rim of compatible single-serve capsules and automatically sets brewing parameters. The VertuoPlus machine brews four cup sizes: coffee (5 oz and 8 oz) and Single and Double Espresso. A: This machine does not use "any" Nepresso pods. It only uses the Nespresso 5oz and 8 oz coffees, and single and double espresso, as stated below.

However, we generally recommend descaling your machine every 3 months or 300 capsules, whichever, comes first. I am so happy I purchased this Nespresso Vertuo Plus machine. It looks good, sleek and pretty (with exception of slightly bulky and awkward cord). I love the color and its sleek design. I've already made so many delicious coffees and espressos. The pods add up, but still saves if you are a regular coffee stand patron. Such a fun, and delicious addition to my kitchen. I just love it!

be careful of the base tray. It will be small for your larger mugs. The vibrations during brewing can knock down your mug. Also if you’re going to adjust the height of the tray, double/triple check its secure. There’s a reason why I recommend keeping it on the lowest setting.

Thank you for your review! The ideal surface for the machine should be solid and flat such as hard wood or a granite countertop. The machine should be stable, with four rubber feet on the bottom. If any rubber feet are missing it may cause an abnormal vibration.

Expensive. Good coffee. Worked for 1 year, then the water tank started leaking all over the counter, all day, everyday. Even with descaling, the red light of death would appear on repeat. Machine would freeze and ultimately stopped working conveniently when the 1 year warranty had just expired a few weeks prior. No help from Nespresso. Hunk of junk. Back to using the watered down K-Cups for now.

Let me start off by saying, I love coffee/lattes/etc. but I'm also not the daily coffee drinker type. I've been wanting a Nespresso for quite a couple of years but for the price, and knowing I don't always drink coffee, it seemed like a frivolous purchase, so when this beauty went on sale I talked myself into it and I can honestly say, I have zero regrets. I love this machine so much and the lattes are coffee shop quality deliciousness. Funny enough I take it to work with me, where it stays all week, and then I bring it home on the weekends, so at this point I may actually buy another one so I don't have to risk breaking mine on its travels.
