Q: How easy is this blender to clean? Is it like a traditional blender of two rubber rings to remove? I am looking for something simple to clean, i.e. take top off base, unscrew lid and put in dishwasher

A: Super easy..add a couple of drops of dish soap and at least 8oz of water and blend!! Then rinse and let fry (if you dont want to use the dish washer)..

Worked really well but 10 months later and something is wrong with the motor. It is ear drum bursting loud and shakes so much the blender unlocks, blade twists open (smoothie goes everywhere) and falls off the counter.

I purchased one of these 2 years ago that came with the smoothie bowl and TWO blender cups. I ordered one for my parents and the description online says two blender cups. Well this time around it does not come with 2! Super frustrating

I mainly used this blender to make smoothies 2-3 times a week for 2 years. It just stopped working after 2 years. It smelled like a burning rubber.

I rinse the blade in hot water right after use and even purchased small brushes it clean around the threading inside. Then I wash it in the dishwasher. It stills smells awful!! I’ve even tried soaking it in straight vinegar..no help! Never had this issue with other blenders. Gross!

I upgraded just recently and am loving the power of the ninja nutrí-blender pro! 1100 powerful watts makes for the creamiest smoothies and smoothie bowls and powers through all ingredients. Even nuts!! I use mine every day for a morning smoothie. I’m able to blend my smoothie in the 24oz cups, pop on a to-go lid and head out the fit with a delicious, fresh, quickly made fruit smoothie. Super easy to clean and pretty compact in size for easy storage. Another win for Ninja!!!

Well it's been working fine, the way it's designed if your not careful stuff gets stuck in the threads of the cup, was looking closely at the blade assembly and notice lots of stuff in the gasket area, I pulled it out to clean but it doesn't come clean, I've hit it with just about everything that wouldn't melt in. So I figured I'll just replace it, no big deal. Well ninja doesn't sell it you have to buy the whole freak blade assembly! Looked on Amazon, they have plenty gaskets but none for this one. So I guess you're supposed to remove the gasket every time you clean it, and hope you don't destroy it, or just spend $30+ to replace the whole blade assembly! I wouldn't recommend for just that reason.

Blender bushing disintegrated

Bushing in blender blade disintegrated with light use. Not even a year old and the it leaks through the bottom of the blade. Took it apart and the bushing or seal is what was spinning out with the liquid. Also the gasket to seal the blades to the cup is very hard to remove. Ninja does not sell a new gasket on their website. I don't recommend this blender or any of their blenders that use the same blade attachment. For the high price you should get a blender that lasts for years not months!
