A: It can’t but there’s a “specialty” setting that you can use to make a concentrated 4oz coffee similar to espresso. It’s similar to moka pot coffee if you’ve had it.

Q: New machine and it leaks from under the coffee maker when the water reservoir is refilled and reinstalled. Reservoir is not overfilled nor tipped when re-installing

A: Yes, it has an option to brew a very strong cup. While not a true espresso, I find it to be enough to hold up in a latte type drink.

A: I've always knocked out old grounds in compost bucket or trash, NEVER sink. * Then blast with sprayer (filter up side down) before stains set in. Easy Peasy! 😄

Loved that I could brew the right amount for my travel mug. The unit showed I needed to clean which i did last week using the instructions.after the first cleaning the clean light now goes off every week. And the instruction book says not to use paper filters to help reduce grounds that escape permanent filter. The handle tab broke off but rather than replace it I have decided to get a different maker.

Leaks coffee from the bottom of the machine

I loved this machine. It makes a great cup of coffee, takes up little space, and looks great. But it leaks. Every single cup of coffee actually leaks under the spill tray on the very bottom of the machine. I'm bummed. I bought a beautiful wooden sliding tray to move it around on my counter. It was gorgeous too. Until the machine leaked all over it repeatedly. One month. That's all it took.

It brews fast, easy to clean, takes up much smaller space (for those of us with small kitchens) than a regular coffee machine. One of the best Ninja purchases I've ever made. Husband loves it. We stayed in an Airbnb that had one without the frother, and we had been looking for a new coffee maker. It is much quicker at brewing than our old coffee maker, and it’s easy to fill the reservoir. All of the parts wash easily. I really wanted the green color but asked husband what color he wanted. I should’ve got the green one bc it would’ve blended with our kitchen better instead of the ice blue, but it’s okay. I wanted to have the built-in frother but haven’t used it yet. It fits on the counter without taking up too much space side-to-side. It was on sale so the price was great for us

Purchased in May and it was unusable by August. It somehow will not release water any more. I have tried every fix offered by support and have tried every trick suggested in YouTube videos. I really liked it at first but now it’s just junk in my garage that needs to be tossed as it’s past the 90 day return window.

Wonderful single serve coffee maker! I had a Keurig for years, and I have to say this performs much better. The coffee grounds are well soaked, bringing a richer, deeper flavor. The froth maker on the side is so convenient and easy to clean. I also love having the interchangeable option of using grounds or pod, with a storage tray the fits both. The coffee maker is very quiet. The brew time is slower than the Keurig, but the purpose of that is to deliver one great cup of coffee!

Super disappointed in this machine. I’ve only had it for a couple weeks if that and the clean light constantly comes on. I’ve had to decal it three times which absolutely does not make sense for a new machine. You should never have to descale a coffee maker that often that can’t be good for it. And I’m using filtered water too. Also, the coffee splatters a lot. It gets all over the floor. I’m really excited about this, but it is very much a disappointment and I’m definitely going to try and return it.

This machine has me enjoying coffee like on the island. The machine makes the best foam and it actually maintains the form. As shown in my photo. Now I can also make bigger amount of coffee with my own coffee grinds when family comes over. So far this machine has been a hit with the guest. I would definitely recommend getting this. What other machine can you get with this price and all the options. It’s even so tidy. Perfect for my tiny home. My new addiction.

It's a very nice-looking machine. It doesn't take up much space on your counter. It brews nicely various sizes of coffee. If you want to brew your own coffee instead of using the pods, you can do that as well. I've owned many pod coffee makers. I think this one's the best.

I bought two of these, in Sage Green, for my daughter and mother; and wish I did for me!! I have (and regularly use) a DualBrew Pro, but should\would have bought one of these instead―had I known it existed. I do not even use the carafe (on mine), so could do without. I DO like the Independent Hot Water System, but dispensing hot water from this machine is obviously possible. Other than the aforementioned, this Single-Serve unit does everything (else)―at HALF the cost. For anyone out there contemplating a DB Pro, with no need for a carafe or dedicated water line THIS is the one for YOU. I've used my mother's, all-day-long, for nearly 3 months now without incident. My morning cappuccinos: well over 100 cups, for which the Frother Whisk is a must; and easily 200+ K-Cups between her and I. I retired her Keurig MINI Plus (a sloppy piece of garbage). I would, however, highly recommend buying paper filters for this machine: Permanent Filter is handy, should you run out (of those). But they are, otherwise, a nightmare to clean.
