This was a gift for my son and daughter-in-law who live in New England. Her Mom and Dad grow cucumbers and other vegetables, and they love to can and preserve vegetables for the winter months. It looked like a great product, and they were excited to try it!
I would buy this product again because of its quality and h.

I purchase the stone first, then the gallon crock with the lid. I just put up a batch of asparagus, I'm waiting to see how it comes out. Thanks for making these home gardener products to help us in cooking healthy!
Very nice quality.

Grew up on homemade sauerkraut and love it. In the Portland, OR area the only place to get good homemade sauerkraut is the Verbort Sausage Festival. Kind of a long drive, standing in cold rain for hours, and inconvenient. I decided to make my own and bought the kraut kit from Gardeners. The crock, weights, and lid are just what I needed. In fact as I write this review my first batch is stewing in my garage. Have been checking the kraut and it smells perfectly pickled! Have 5 more days till I my batch is potentially done.
