O-Cedar H2 Pro Flat Mop and Bucket System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and O-Cedar in exchange for my honest feedback. The O-Cedar H2prO Flat Mop System has been such an upgrade for my apartment. Everything is extremely easy to assemble. The handles just snapped together and it’s simple easy to fill and weighs less than 5 pounds. The tank with the blue lid you fill with freshwater and it has a separate container for the dirty water. You can add a dash of floor cleaner, just don’t add too much. The best part about this design is the two slits that you slide the mop into. You would think that the towel slide right off, but the Velcro is so strong. It keeps everything intact. The first one is really cool and it’s not even battery operated but you just slide the device in and water will spray on the towel then you take them off out and put it in the second slit to ring the towel out. It only takes a few seconds and has made my life so much easier. I have tried at least seven different styles of mobs and this is by far my favorite. My husband never cleans and he actually really likes using this. The microfiber cloth is an ingenious idea with you being able to just throw it in the washer when you’re done and hang dry it. This is a great invention and works perfect for my two bedroom apartment! When putting the microfiber towel onto the mop, make sure you bend it over the Velcro and it stays put and doesn’t move. I even use this to clean parts of my baseboards and walls and the cloth stays still and cleaned better than any device I’ve used. I like that the cloth is white because you can visibly see how much dirt you pick up when mopping and the best part is that you don’t have to keep changing the towels out you can just rinse it and it lasts up to six months. The microfiber also has two rows with a grip that helps you pick up dirt from the floor. The container is compact, lightweight, and easy to store in my cabinet. I highly recommend this product. It has been life-changing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flat mop system turned out to be a good idea, but only if you need to clean a small area of the floor. If you need to clean, for example, the living room, you will need about three approaches to change the water. For me, the water tank is very small. But for example, for daily cleaning of the kitchen, this is an excellent option, fast and convenient in everything. I am happy with the find and novelty for me.

It’s a nice sleek design so it’s easier to store than our other mop which is 3x as big. The handle comes apart for easy storage too. It’s a flat mop head not a traditional “mop” either. The best thing is that the pad is reusable so I don't have to buy disposable pads and make unnecessary waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Starting out from the beginning, all of the instructions are all over the box so do not ruin the box in any way. The instructions are a little hard to follow being there and are on each edge and flap of the box, but overall it is simple to put together. Some of the directions are a little unclear at first, but then you keep reading the box and you find mostly everything you're looking for. I really enjoyed the ease of use of this product. I enjoy the mechanism to get water, it is fun and efficient. Dumping the dirty water is easy to do. The only downfall is having one pad, if you want to do any large areas, or high traffic areas, you may need a few on hand. The handle sometimes comes unscrewed when you are maneuvering around the floors in not straight lines, which I do because I have an old house with some unique spaces. It is pretty effective at getting close to the floorboards and the trim. I did go with a towel on my hands and knees just to make sure any trim areas were thoroughly cleaned, but I have an old house with lots of funky trim designs. My overall impression is that I am very pleased with this product. Just make sure to have extra pads on hand.

Not sure how long the pad will hold up, but easy to throw in the washer to clean. Think of it as a better, more durable swifter.
