This blood pressure monitor is so off, it is harmful. Today it gave me a reading of 236/145 while I was at my doctor's office. He took my blood pressure: 120/68! Yesterday's at home reading of 216/114 nearly sent me to the hospital. This is untrustworthy and dangerous.

Bought this for my mother in assisted living facility. Nurses said it was inaccurate so I tested my self several different ways. I am a retired nurse practitioner. Nurses were right. Very inaccurate. Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not happy with the wrist cuff - much prefer the arm cuff. Have both but the numbers never match. The arm cuff won’t synch with the app anymore that’s why I bought the wrist cuff
Easy to use and the display is big enough to see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many other wrist BP monitors and each has had drawbacks. This one worked well on the first try and I did not even get an "error" message. The learning curve on the features was quick. Every other monitor had the results in "print" too small for me to read. This display has a great layout with big numbers. The symbols/icons were well explained in the literature and I am terrible with icons as opposed to words so this was a great plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this several years ago when my other Omron died from this site. It saved me from having a stroke. I had been on the same blood pressure medication for over five years when suddenly it stopped working. I had always taken my blood pressure upon getting up. That morning my pressure went to over 210/160. I immediately called Ohio Heart and they sent me to the ER. I was put on an IV and sent for at CT to make sure I did not have a brain bleed. I realized how much BP can be the silent killer because of my Omron. Had I not taken my BP that morning I would have went about my work never knowing and probably had a stroke. Thanks Omron!

I purchased this unit 3 weeks age on the recommendation of my Doctor, not really satisfied, I get much higher readings with this then at the doctors office. I do what the brief instructions say and my readings are at least 20-30 points higher

I have been using one Omron wrist 3 series BP monitor at home for almost 20 years. It still works great, very easy to use, just put on the left wrist and hold hand touching the chest and get a reading in 30-40 seconds. Now I bought second for office. New monitor looks same like the old one but this new one requires to always find a table and put the left arm on a table with monitor on the wrist at about heart level but not touching the chest and keep it about 8 -12 inches away from the the chest, which is approximate distance. I find this new one more difficult compared to the old one, which did not require a table and one fixed place is to touch the monitor with the chest. I wish the new monitor can be same easy like the old one.

I am replacing my old Omron wrist bp because it was accidently damaged. I miss the light feature which indicated the arm position was correct. The new firm cuff is an improvement though.

I needed to replace my 20 yr old Omron BP machine. Did the research, went over the reviews and decided this one was my best bet. Took with me to work( ER). Had several friends take their bp using the OMRON and then the hospital one and it was spot on.

I was looking for a basic wrist heart monitor at a good price, from a reputable reliable manufacturer in the USA. I ordered this model almost a month ago, and was pleased that it arrived more quickly than the manufacturer estimated,! It's easy and intuitive to use, although of course read the instructions and take care to position your arm properly at heart level. I found that positioning the device towards the thumb side of the wrist (where you can feel your pulse) gave better readings. If this monitor continues to function without problem for a year, I would give a 5 star rating across the board (overall, quality, and value).

Once you get the hang of using it properly, it works great with consistent readings.
