A: The main difference between the cleaning modes is the number of oscillations and pulsations per minute. The Daily Clean mode will feature the highest amount of the the three modes, and the Whitening mode will feature the fewest.

Q: I bought the Oral B Power 1000 and I cannot figure out how to select a lower speed. It appears that there is only the very fast speed. No slower mode. can you help.

A: We're glad you asked. With this model, there are 3 brushing modes; Daily Clean, Whiten, and Sensitive. The brush will always start in the Daily Clean mode when turned on. When turning the brush on, you can press the On button twice to cycle to the Whiten brushing mode, and three times to cycle to the Sensitive brushing mode.

I’ve always used Oral B toothbrushes. This is the only one I’ve been disappointed in. It’s loud and feels like I’m using a jackhammer on my teeth. I will be returning them.

So far so good. I had to replace my Oral B electric that lasted me a good 7 years. I was a bit nervous trying to find a replacement but went with this version due to the best reviews of all the styles. It is a bit more powerful than the original as well and not too hard on my teeth or gums. I don't notice too much of a difference for the original brush

It’s loud, bulky and you can’t apply too much pressure while brushing or it’ll stop spinning. For the price I expected smoother motion. Collects a lot of water and between the replacement head. I guess it cleans okay, but I might go back to my less expensive electric toothbrush

My lovely dentist recommended an Oral B electric toothbrush, so this is the one I picked. I had been using a manual toothbrush up until this point, and I wish I had bought this sooner. My favorite feature by far is the timer! I know for a fact I was previously not brushing as long/thoroughly as I should have been. This toothbrush lets you know how much time to spend on each "quadrant" of your teeth with tactile feedback (a series of brief little pauses), and then you know that you've brushed all your teeth equally AND you've brushed for the full recommended 2 minutes. The brush head it comes with was a little abrasive for me, so I got some of the softer ones for sensitive gums, and everything's good now. Definitely recommend this toothbrush.

awesome price! other than that I would have paid more for this cleaning. if you like a little more firm cleaning that definitely does the flossing and the brushing this is your toothbrush! he built-in timer is great but I do tend to brush a little longer than it says too. it just feels so good it's hard to stop

This toothbrush is amazing. It has many functions in one than a normal non electric toothbrush would have. It has a whitening, cleaning, flossing and tongue scrubber feature. The heads are separate but a pack of 10 can last at least 3 to 6 months.
