A: BPA is not used as an ingredient in any P&G/ Oral-B products. It is a trace component from the manufacture of polycarbonate plastic, resins and adhesives. Thus, it may be found at trace levels in some non-food contact product packaging. All of P&G’s uses of BPA are safe and in compliance with all applicable regulations wherever our products are sold.

A: It does have a battery, so it does not always need to be on the charger. The exact run time is highly depending on the individual brushing behavior. Factors like brushing frequency, duration, over-pressure applied during brushing and to which extend the different features.

The main issue is that I discovered mold in the hole of the toothbrush head attachment. Even after changing the head, the mold issue came back again so I threw it away. It also has a bad battery life.

If I could give Oral-B electric toothbrushes zero stars, I would! We bought two brushes, and one of them stopped working within a month. We had to contact Oral-B for a refund, wait for a return label, and then send it back to them. I am still waiting on my refund, which has been a huge waste of time. Our other toothbrush stopped charging last night, so it lasted only 1.5 months. I contacted Oral-B again, and this is their response: "Our 60-day money-back guarantee is limited to one refund per name, household, or address. We can, however, assist with the process of sending the brush to one of our service centers to get it back in working order." So, we can't get a refund for our second toothbrush since their 60-day policy only allows for one return per address! This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Two toothbrushes stopped charging within 1.5 month! I will never purchase from Oral-B again!

Purchased 3 for my children. There is a huge design flaw where water can enter into the brush head attachment and mold grow inside of it. These should be recalled. It’s disgusting.

3 year old torture device?

This is not a terrible brush, but is of no use to me. I bought it for a 3 year old, they are not typically bothered by noise, they don’t have any strange aversions, etc. but they absolutely hate this brush and cry that it’s too loud. We’ve had it over a week… the crying has faded but they shudder when I say it’s fine to brush their teeth and this brush appears. They have a different brush (which I was hoping to replace with this oral B) that they reach for instead. They plea for me not to use this oral B kids brush. I’m not sure if they will get used to it eventually, but I feel like this brush is torture for them. I don’t want to give my child any weird complexes over teeth brushing. In my opinion yes it is too loud, the gentle mode is fairly strong/loud. The first time I turned it on I was a little surprised by the noise. But I thought maybe it meant a good cleaning. Cons The build quality is not great Too loud My child hates it (torturous?) Pros A nice size Seems to clean well Ease of use: it’s not tricky to use but it your kid refuses it, because it’s too loud then it’s not usable Quality: mediocre - cheaply made. Two modes = strong and extreme Value: if you don’t care about how loud it is and don’t need a gentle cleaning mode then it’s decent otherwise I do not recommend

I had my old Oral B electric toothbrush for at least 10 years before it finally died. I got this one, which seems very similar to my old one, because it was about half the price of the regular ones marketed to adults. There is nothing apparently childish about it; it's a perfectly normal size. It has two speeds and buzzes every 30 seconds so you know how long to focus on each quarter of you mouth. Seems great. No charging issues.

Didn’t really like how it sprays out the back. Even with buying new heads,it sprays water. Will keep using as my son likes it and likes how his teeth feel after brushing. Will probably buy a different brand next time that doesn’t spray water out of the back

While you may already know, it takes approximately 16 hours to fully charge this brush before first use. And when fully charged, it can be used for approximately 14 days (based on brushing for 2 minutes, twice a day). Make sure the brush has been powered off before putting it on the charger and avoid charging on or near a metal surface – this can interfere with the electromagnetic charger. You could also try a different power outlet, or try charging another device on the same outlet to double-check that the outlet is working. My child has SPD and has only ever tolerated manual brushing. This is the first electric toothbrush that hasnt caused issues. They actually enjoy brushing with this one over their manual brush. I have tried several brands and I'm happy to find one that cleans better than a manual but is not uncomfortable.
