Palmolive Oxy Degreaser Ultra Liquid Dish Soap - 42 fl oz

I’ve been using Palmolive with OXY for several years and I love it more than any other brand out there, but this new formula with the massive amount of blue dye in it is nothing like the old one. It’s not as thick, it doesn’t suds up as much, it doesn’t cut grease like it used to, and I feel like I’m having to use more of it to get the job done. In a day when we’re all being made aware of the effects of colored dyes in our foods, I wreak every time I squeeze some of this stuff out into my sink and put it all over the dishes we’ll eat on. I’m afraid if they don’t go back to the old one, I’m going to have to search for a new dish soap.

The formula change is terrible. I had used the old formula for decades. This new formula, I am using more soap than ever to clean dishes. I also used to use the soap to help get spot stains out of my clothes, now this new formula STAINS my clothes. Beware of this product now.

I have always used Palmolive Oxy and felt it was comparable to Dawn. I recently bought a bottle of the new formula. I hate it. It doesn't suds. It barely dissolves in water. If this is the new formula I will skip on purchasing from now on.

I bought this thinking I was getting the same product I have used for years. The minute I put some in the sink I could tell a big difference, and not in a good way. This product hardly suds and more needs to be addd before the stack of dishes have all been washed. I’m sure this will be my last purchase of this product. Sometimes new and improved is not better.

I hate the “improved formula” it may have improved your $ but does not cut it for me - it doesn’t suds up, it doesn’t have any of the body and thickness of the old formula. I’m going to switch to dawn if it doesn’t go back to the old formula.

I love how it breaks down thick dry & greasy fatty grime on my pots & pans. I’m not scrubbing forever. I feel the squeaky clean after a couple scrubs & rinse.

I agree with the other negative reviews. I had been a long time user of your previous Oxy product. I bought this new “improved formula” about a month ago, and am disappointed in it. I don’t like the dark blue color, and it doesn’t work as well as the old formula! You have to use more of it, but it still looses its soapiness quickly. Why did you make such a negative change??

I have been using Palmolive Oxy ever since it came out. I started using it because it was really good on stains, especially tea and coffee stains—a little soak and the brown went away. Now the stains never disappear and I have to scrub a lot. Besides that, the new color (strong blue) is horrible—I can see the soap sink to the bottom instead of mixing with the water quickly. AND, the new scent is way too strong. Hey I'm washing the dishes I eat off of—I don't want my food to taste of dish soap.

I have used Palmolive Oxy since it first came out and the new formula is just terrible. The liquid is like water now and you have to use more to do the job the old formula did. The new color is also very concerning too. I preferred the light blue which is now a glowing neon blue that looks toxic. On the ingredients listed it simply states colorants so I have no idea what is in it.

The new formula is horrible. The original formula was perfect. However the new formula has a lot more dye and it doesn't clean very well. Hardly any suds either. You've just lost a long time and loyal customer. I'm switching to a new brand.

Just picked up my curbside order, and this is what I received. Is this right? Looks like someone’s been using it for a week. Notice how much is missing from bottle!

This product used to be perfect. I used it for years. It was the best. Then the company decided to "improve the formula". What they did was ruin it. The detergent is now a dark, inky blue and one has to use more of it to get the dishes clean. It's hard to get it to soap up and the soap bubbles don't stay throughout dishwashing. This has been made into a cheap product. I will not buy this ever again.

I'm going to be honest, i have never used this brand before and i bought it on a whim because it smelled so good. I was a strict dawn user until they changed the scent, had to say goodbye because that new scent is so awful. This dish soap cleans really well, including greasy pans. Doesn't make my dishes taste perfumey (big plus) I really have no idea what these nagative reviews are about. This is soap is amazing and i will forever use it. Had to knock off 1 star because the blue dye is very over the top, like wow!!

This is a new formula for them and it's not as good as before (imo). Clumpy, doesn't disperse well and scent has changed. I loved it for the scent, which now is not as good. Another annoying change is - It's SUPER ridiculously pigmented now! Maybe it cuts grease a little better than before but not enough difference to make me want this version over the old one. Very bummed as this was once my "go-to" favorite 😞😣 Time to look for another option..

I always loved Palmolive but since they changed the formula it has been both destroying my hands and not cleaning dishes as well. Tough on hands and soft on grease? Also, the level of blue is over the top. Like it's what I think it would look like if you hit an alien with your car and it just splat violent blue all over.

I have used Palmolive my entire adult life. And I am so disappointed In this new and improved lather does not last through dish washing and I live alone and do not have that many dishes at one setting very very disappointed,please go back or I will need to find new. Brand

I cannot believe you guys changed the formula! The original Palmotive Oxy worked better than Dawn and that's the whole reason I kept buying the Oxy dish soap every time. I loved it and even bragged about it....But now that you changed the formula...it is absolutely horrible!!!! The amount of blue dye is ridiculous and it is extremely waterered down and doesn't even work now! I WILL NOT buy this again UNLESS you guys bring back the original !!!!!!!!!! I am disappointed that I now have to hunt for a new brand that works as well as the original Oxy, but so far I can't even find one that matches how good the original Oxy was. I am telling people about how awful this soap is now because of how upset I am. You will lose customers if you don't bring the old formula back!

If I could give this product zero stars I would. I have used Palmolive Oxy for years and loved the product. However this new formula is horrendous. Besides the extra blue coloring, the quality has severely diminished. I used to only have to use a small amount. Now I am using twice and triple the amount I used previously, and my dishes are still left greasy. Besides the poor cleaning quality, my hands are so dry, itchy and sometimes sting after using this. I switched to Oxy originally because Dawn made my hands very dry, but now I will have to find another product. Even your almond milk and blueberry formula is different now and does not perform as it used to. Please bring back the old formula.

I noticed a difference the first time I used it. This is not a good improvement. Have to use twice as much as before, is that the idea? Guess what, I am buying Dawn now. Fix it and I will return.

Have happily paid a premium over other brands to use this product for many years. The new formula, however (the really dark blue liquid!) is so inferior to the old one - must use twice as much to get the same level of clean, making this a WAY poor value for the $$$. Consumers just don’t have the extra cash lying around to waste, so I will not be buying even one more bottle of this.
