Palmolive Ultra Liquid Dish Soap - Oxy Power Degreaser - 32.5 fl oz/4ct

I’ve been using Palmolive with OXY for several years and I love it more than any other brand out there, but this new formula with the massive amount of blue dye in it is nothing like the old one. It’s not as thick, it doesn’t suds up as much, it doesn’t cut grease like it used to, and I feel like I’m having to use more of it to get the job done. In a day when we’re all being made aware of the effects of colored dyes in our foods, I wreak every time I squeeze some of this stuff out into my sink and put it all over the dishes we’ll eat on. I’m afraid if they don’t go back to the old one, I’m going to have to search for a new dish soap.

I have always used Palmolive Oxy and felt it was comparable to Dawn. I recently bought a bottle of the new formula. I hate it. It doesn't suds. It barely dissolves in water. If this is the new formula I will skip on purchasing from now on.

I bought this thinking I was getting the same product I have used for years. The minute I put some in the sink I could tell a big difference, and not in a good way. This product hardly suds and more needs to be addd before the stack of dishes have all been washed. I’m sure this will be my last purchase of this product. Sometimes new and improved is not better.

I hate the “improved formula” it may have improved your $ but does not cut it for me - it doesn’t suds up, it doesn’t have any of the body and thickness of the old formula. I’m going to switch to dawn if it doesn’t go back to the old formula.

I agree with the other negative reviews. I had been a long time user of your previous Oxy product. I bought this new “improved formula” about a month ago, and am disappointed in it. I don’t like the dark blue color, and it doesn’t work as well as the old formula! You have to use more of it, but it still looses its soapiness quickly. Why did you make such a negative change??

I have been using Palmolive Oxy ever since it came out. I started using it because it was really good on stains, especially tea and coffee stains—a little soak and the brown went away. Now the stains never disappear and I have to scrub a lot. Besides that, the new color (strong blue) is horrible—I can see the soap sink to the bottom instead of mixing with the water quickly. AND, the new scent is way too strong. Hey I'm washing the dishes I eat off of—I don't want my food to taste of dish soap.

I have used Palmolive Oxy since it first came out and the new formula is just terrible. The liquid is like water now and you have to use more to do the job the old formula did. The new color is also very concerning too. I preferred the light blue which is now a glowing neon blue that looks toxic. On the ingredients listed it simply states colorants so I have no idea what is in it.

I have used Palmolive my entire adult life. And I am so disappointed In this new and improved lather does not last through dish washing and I live alone and do not have that many dishes at one setting very very disappointed,please go back or I will need to find new. Brand

If I could give this product zero stars I would. I have used Palmolive Oxy for years and loved the product. However this new formula is horrendous. Besides the extra blue coloring, the quality has severely diminished. I used to only have to use a small amount. Now I am using twice and triple the amount I used previously, and my dishes are still left greasy. Besides the poor cleaning quality, my hands are so dry, itchy and sometimes sting after using this. I switched to Oxy originally because Dawn made my hands very dry, but now I will have to find another product. Even your almond milk and blueberry formula is different now and does not perform as it used to. Please bring back the old formula.

I noticed a difference the first time I used it. This is not a good improvement. Have to use twice as much as before, is that the idea? Guess what, I am buying Dawn now. Fix it and I will return.

Have happily paid a premium over other brands to use this product for many years. The new formula, however (the really dark blue liquid!) is so inferior to the old one - must use twice as much to get the same level of clean, making this a WAY poor value for the $$$. Consumers just don’t have the extra cash lying around to waste, so I will not be buying even one more bottle of this.

I do not like the new formula. It doesn’t work as well, and I cannot stand the smell. My hands are itchy after a small load of dishes and I have a headache from the scent. I’ve used it twice and I will have to go find something else because I can’t use it again. You guys were probably trying to save money but I would have bought the old kind forever and now I’ll not buy this or Palmolive again.

Awful reduction in quality. Someone dropped the ball changing the formula for the worse. When this bottle is gone I will be abandoning Palmolive products

Longtime user, very disappointed. First it was diluted, (yes, I noticed), now it's too blue and not as soapy. I will be looking for a new brand.

I bought 2 bottles just recently and noticed the "new and improved" on the label. I will not buy this product again. Just terrible. I have to constantly add more to the dish water and the results are absolutely poor. I loved this dish washing soap but will be looking for a new product. So sad that you changed the formula. I’m a guy who’s the household cook, and I’ve been using Palmolive Oxy for many, many years (almost 20, since college!) I’m pretty disappointed in the new formulation. I don’t mind the weird, extra-dark blue color, but they’ve added something to the soap that feels like that denatured alcohol dish spray (ostensibly to degreaser) but now the soap irritates my hands after even a few minutes of cleaning up at the end of the night. I’m not interested in wearing gloves just to do the evening cleaning, especially because the old formulation caused no issue. Even though it’s just a dish soap, I’m pretty bummed that I’ll have to switch to something else. It was good while it lasted.

I have been using Palmolive oxy dish detergent for last 4to 5 years. The last one I bought said improved formular. NO, Its not improved, it is horrible. Use twice as much, will not make any suds on its own unless you stir the blue gob up. Then the suds dissappeared before half the dishes are done. I can hardly wait till the bottle is empty, so I can go back to the animal saver brand that I used before I switched to Palmolive oxy. Change is not always better. This time it is worse. I didn't realize so many customers thought the same as I do about the new formular until I started to rate the Palmolive and saw all the negative comments which were like mine. You need to go back to the original formular to keep your customers. IT reminds me of the big blinder Coke made when they dropped the original Coke and came out with NEW COKE. It killed coke sales until they brought back the original Coke. I ought to know, because I operated a store for 59 years. Coke sales died with the new coke.

I LOVED the "old" formula and have heavily relied on it for the last few years (including suggesting it to family members!). The "new" formula is NOT THE SAME and I am on borrowed time to switching to another dish soap. It does not dissolve, the color is electric blue, and the smell is different. I hope and pray they bring back the "old" dish soap again...it was THE BEST!

Why would you include Methylisothiazolinone in your new formula, and not list it on your page? Yes, your ingredients link is broken. Both my wife and I are allergic to Methylisothiazolinone, which has been proven to cause contact dermatitis. I hope the savings you make from this new formula makes up for all the customers you lose. I will be rethinking all Colgate Palmolive products my household uses, and look for alternatives. You just lost two 20 year customers.

The old formula was a 5 star by far! This new formula is not as good, the color looks fake and it does not work as well at all. Disappointed because this WAS the rest dish soap, even better than Dawn.
