Its perfect for a surprise gift! Very bright and colorful and fun! Once you slide the box out of the cardboard sleeve, there are 2 flaps, one on each side to open and then you see a special playset box and a lower area with Ava doll figurine. Then you lift the little present looking flaps for more surprises. Everything is so teeny and so cute. It came with a little bunny pet and a unicorn as well as a purse, glasses, camera, and furniture to play with. You could also use the top box as a house because of the picture on it looks like a room. Plus there is a Popteenies surprise tube with more teenie surprises inside. All in all this playset comes with a lot and will be super fun to play with and take with you places. Any girl would love it. I know my girls, ages 3 and 7 do. They are well made, brightly colored, and great for any setting. They'll encourage lots of creative play. But may be a choking hazard for babies and little kids. I definitely recommend and already have to my friends. This is going to be a big hit with all the tiny toys that are so totally in right now. Great birthday and Christmas gifts idea! I did get to try this for free but the experience and opinions are my own.

She loves that it comes in a box and when you are done playing with it, everything can go back in the box for storage. She gets really creative with the Popteenies by including them in made up plays/scenes. She asked if I could go out and buy her more Popteenies but haven't been able to find any yet. I highly recommend Popteenies and foresee this being an item my little one enjoys for years to come... as long as they have the product in stock at local stores. ;)

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My children loved this set. The entire package is set up like a birthday present. It opens to ten little presents that reveal accessories or pets. It is super cute and they really liked have the surprise presents. Once all is open it's a cute play set that has a vanity table, the accessories, and a small shelf to put the pieces on. Some pieces are very small so I would NOT recommend for small children are any child that likes to put things in their mouth.

She likes collecting things so she was just as happy looking through the booklet on what to collect and add to it. She has bought 3 separate teenies since then, crossing off each one until she competes the collection! She loved showing it off to friends and just enjoyed every minute she plays.

Once they got them and open them. They love the surprise confetti when it popped open. They also like the cute little toy that goes inside of it. They enjoyed the packaging and thought it was very exciting to open. They loved the fact it had so many blind surprises to open! The stickers to decorate was a exciting touch! They also loved that the box turned into a playset for everything they opened! The only con the expressed was that the box was a tad flimsy and they wished it was a harder material. That way they could store better after they played and came back to it. All in all this was a hit, success and great toy for both ages and they really enjoyed it. We would recommend highly! We received the popteenies party surprise box playset for free to review, however all my opinions are 100% my own and receiving this free did not sway my review in any way.

The only thing is some of the items like the server was so small my 5 year old daughter lost it right away and we still have not found it. But it still was great for the price it is so sold at even though we got this one free.
