Bought this after trying the PATTERN clarifying shampoo (love it) and reading positive reviews. I really wanted to like it but I just can't. Applied to my hair after shampoo and regular conditioner. The smell is totally overwhelming, like to the point where it will give you a headache. It kind of smells like old lady perfume. I used it as a deep conditioning treatment, when I rinsed it out my hair did not feel soft/silky at all. It almost felt crunchy and dry when rinsing. I wanted to love it but between the scent and lack of hydration it's not for me. For context I have type 3b/3c curls.

The best conditioner I have ever used. First time using any Pattern products and I wish I would have used it sooner. I assumed it wouldn't work well for my tight 4c hair. I was wrong. It lived up to the name giving intense moisture. It melted in my hair like butter allowing me to detangle my hair and deep condition in the process. This conditioner is like a 3 in one: detangler, conditioner, and deep conditioner.

This is the best conditioner I have ever used. It immediately melts into your hair, moisturizes and cuts through all of your tangles. This is my go to staple in my hair wash routine. Oh my hair LOVES this, the thickness of the conditioner is amazing and the richness of it is amazing. I feel like it has done wonders for my hair! I also do not need to use a lot of product because of how thick it is, which is the opposite of my previous conditioners.
