A: I am not sure about that. We have made chalk with it. Just add the color you like and when it sets, you can use it as chalk.

Q: Is this similar to clay? Could I use this to make a vase or bowl by hand?

A: The material is Plaster. It is in powder form. You add water to the powder and mix them together. It is not similar to clay.

Q: If I make a vase out of this could I bake it in the oven to dry it faster? After it is completely dry can I put water in the vase for my flowers? Also, what is the difference between your perfect plaster and perfect cast?

A: You can make a vase out of this material. You should not bake this material. The Perfect Plaster is porous and will not hold water for long. You can seal the plaster with a lacquer or liquid plastic and then it will hold water. Perfect Cast is five time stronger than Perfect Plaster.

A: This product is plaster. You mix water with it and it turns hard in about 45 minutes. Great for craft projects.
