Description
What to expect when introducing the Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple:
-It's totally natural for your baby to take 2-3 tries to get milk flowing from a new bottle. Unlike traditional bottles the Natural bottle is designed to only release milk when your baby is actively drinking, like what happens when babies breastfeed.
-We have 5 different nipple flow rates for the Natural bottle. When looking for the right nipple flow rate, age is a guide, but your baby's approach to drinking and the feeding cues they will show will help determine when to move to a higher or lower nipple flow rate.
Packaging uses 100% plastic alternative, FSC-certified paper, with great potential to be widely circular for majority of product packaging.

Q: Can we sterilize the bottle cap by using a sterilizer? What is the material of the bottle cap?
A: So the glass bottles can be sterilized by boiling or using a bottle sterlizer?
submitted byJanel - 4 months agoA: Hello! Yes. After every usage, make sure to thoroughly clean and sterilise all parts of your Philips Avent bottle that come into touch with milk. All parts are cleanable either hand washing or dishwasher use. The bottle pieces can be sterilized in a Philips Avent sterilizer or by boiling them for five minutes. Do not put a cold GLASS bottle into hot water to avoid damage.

Q: What flow number should be used for new born ?
A: Hello! For newborns, I recommend starting with a number 1 nipple, which is designed for breastfed babies and allows milk to flow only when the baby actively drinks, similar to breastfeeding. While age is a guidance, we recommend watching your little one’s cues to find the best nipple flow. We designed the nipple range to work for all different of drinking patterns, from fast and enthusiastic to slow and steady. The Natural Response Nipple is available in nipple flows 1 to 5.

Q: What flow number is needed for newborns?
A: Hi there! The flow rate of milk they get from the nipple is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily they drink as they develop. Enthusiastic drinkers use a strong suction and compression while drinking, resulting in greater milk flow, so they usually need a lower nipple flow from the Natural Response range (such as nipple number 1 or 2) to avoid overflow. Slow and steady drinkers are likely to prefer a higher nipple flow (such as nipple 4 or 5), to ensure enough milk flows, regardless of age.
