Description
The Premier Pet™ In-Ground Fence keeps your dog safely in your yard with a customizable barrier that includes coverage up to 1/3 acre and is expandable up to 5 acres with the Premier Pet™ Wire and Flag Expansion Set (GRFA-500). The barrier can be customized to contain your dog in your entire yard, a partial area of your yard, or to prevent access to certain areas, such as a garden or pool. The included waterproof receiver collar has a nylon strap that is adjustable up to 26”, making it a great fit for both smaller and larger dogs. A low battery indicator on the collar will alert you when the collar battery (GAC11-16351) should be replaced. The collar has 1 level of tone only for training and 4 adjustable levels of static correction so that you are able to choose which level works best for your dog. A safety time-out feature will stop correcting after 30 seconds should your dog get outside of the boundary zone. You also have the option of adding an unlimited number of dogs to the system with the Premier Pet In-Ground Add-A-Dog collar (GIG00-16920). A: Thank you for your question! You can add a second receiver collar to your containment system simply by purchasing a compatible add-on receiver collar. The receiver collar that is compatible with this system can be found under model number GIG00-16350 or GIG00-16920.

I bought this product in May 2024. The day after it was installed, there was a break in loop that I had to repair. 5 weeks later...another break. 2 weeks ago...another break that I had to dig up almost 950ft of wire to find. Today I noticed the Loop Indicator Light was not lit up. For the 4th time in 2 months the wire broke AGAIN. I love the functionality of the system. It was relatively easy to install. The customizable boundary is wonderful for my awkward shaped property. Even with all the pros of this system, the con of cheap wire makes it not worth the time and money spent.

We recently got a Burnese mountain pup... She's got alot of energy. We had a horrible incident with a neighbour and our last pup so we ha e gone to every measure to keep our new pup safe.. The underground fence has given us the piece of mind that we needed. We installed 650 ft of wire and she has tested it everywhere. In the beginning she got a couple of good jolts but has learned in a week where she can go and where she can't... So have the cats.. They know where the chase will end too lol. Great product, easy install and well worth it not just for our pups free roaming spirit but for our piece of mind Thanks

Set it up, ran the training just the manuals said. My dogs will just casually walk through like it's not that at all. Repeated all the steps again, tested it twice. Dogs for the reacted to it for about a day. The next day one them casually walked right over it, went into the road and got ran over. So thanks premiere you essentially killed my dog

He lives to be outside with us but can't help but dart away when he sees something worth chasing. So we purchased this fencing and so glad we did. It was easy to install and has videos online for those who are more visual like me. Now we can have Buddy outside with us with no worries. He quickly learned the boundaries of the yard and doesn't even go near the border. So woth it!

We live on a semi-busy road and near the main thoroughfare so it's always a little dicey if she gets out. The wire must be buried which is easier said than done in my neck of the woods (Texas). All in all though it was relatively easy to setup. We are still working on training but it seems like this is going to work out for our needs.

We have a good size yard, but it was difficult to keep him out of flower beds and going into the neighbors yard. The In-Ground Fence System has been amazing as a training aide and guide for his limitations. He now has more freedom to move about and is understanding boundaries much better as we continue to train him. Thank you Premier Pet for a GREAT puppy assistance product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dog was already used to a shock collar that we used for the beeps as a deterrent so this was an easy training transition. He knows that when he doesn’t self-correct after the beeps he gets a slight shock. According to my husband the install was exactly as he was expecting and pretty easy. I’m glad it came with flags as a training tool although we were quickly able to remove them. Excited to keep our dog close without having to always leash him up!

It gives the dog a warning when they are too close to the edge. Our dogs have stayed in the yard. It was super easy to set up. It is nice to just let them outside and not have to put them on the led. No more untangling the led when it gets caught on things. Highly recommend for dog owners!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 dogs. It worked for one of them but not the other two. I have a pitbull who is extremely smart and listens very well. This system works great for him, he has very short hair and I am guessing he can feel it more than the Akita's can. The Akita's did not seem phased by it. They are long coated and I am sure that helps them. I gave 3 stars because it won't work on all dogs but it is great for the right ones.

You may find it helpful to note that if your Akitas have thicker or longer fur, it may be necessary to trim the fur around where the collar is fit on the neck. We wanted the invisible fence up to keep her off of the neighbor's property. This kit includes all you need to get started and you can buy extra wire to expand the area with the initial kit doing up to 500 feet. It comes with the collar, flags, and everything you need to get going. The instructions are very helpful.

It came with everything the get you started if you have about 1/3 of an acre. We have about 5 we need to do. So I am going to have to get more wire. However we did use it to see how our dog would react. He is 3 years old and has been allowed to roam free for 3 years on our farm. This is going to take some getting used to for him. I am excited to see some progress. I'm looking forward to getting more wire, and another dog collar for our young puppy. All of the hardware that comes in this is well-built and seems very sturdy. It comes with everything you would need to get started on a small area.

So I figured I would give this a try and I am so glad I did. Easy to use and my dog learned quickly what his boundaries were.
