I ended up returning it. Nice idea and thought but needs better execution. Timer is a must. This has nothing nor does it have the auto shut off. It gets SUPER hot way more than you would expect.

Once hot, this device really heats up various sandwich types (turkey & cheese my fav). sometimes I would put my sandwich on before the green ready indicator light came on as it seemed to take longer than desired; it still worked just fine and quick.

It does not take long to toast and melt a sandwich to perfection. Its extra long so it help with making a couple sandwiches at a time. It heats up fast and proportionally toasts the melts evenly on both sides. My favorite part about this hot sandwich melter is it compresses evenly and locks. This helps prevent uneven cooking. It is pretty and it is compact so it goes well with any kitchen appliances and fits anywhere on your counter. It is also incredibly easy to clean. A wipe down is sufficient in most cases. I recommend this hot sandwich maker for its quality and efficiency.

Heats evenly. It's small, so is perfect for travel if you have kids. You can make two sandwiches or toast at once. I really recommend this.

It will also make perfect thick homemade not pocket sandwiches just add meat and grill away. I like that you can make two sandwiches at once cutting down on cooking time. Clean up was easy just a quick wipe and your ready for the next time. The clean stainless design will look great on your counter.

We took it out of the box and it was ready to go. It has a locking handle and a power light. A nifty preheat light and you are ready to start creating! When we were finished making yummy sandwiches and experimenting, cleanup was super easy. It is a great add to your kitchen collection because it works great, is compact and easy to store! Get one and start creating.

I have tried to make a couple different sandwiches so far and they have all turned out perfect. I made a three cheese grilled cheese and a Ruben. The bread crisped well and the cheese melted throughout. The meat and the kraut on the Reuben were hot and delicious as well. Just takes under 5 minutes to make the perfect sandwich. It is very easy to wipe clean and I would recommend this sandwich press to others!
