Razor Hovertrax 2.0 Hoverboard

This product worked well for first few days, than began giving problems. One side would not activate and was unable to ride. Tried recalibrating and following instruction manual, but ended up returning.

I had the 1st gen in black. Had shiny aluminum side rims instead of the silly lights that all the others had. Bought mine 7 years ago and it’s powered through. Took it everywhere, bought a go kart attachment for it and had all of my friends ride it. It’s probably put on atleast 100km or more in its lifetime and had no issues, ran through water and was fine, a younger family member ran it through a huge puddle at a playground and the right wheel cut out, after a few days of drying it rode again and had no issues. Pulled 4 teenagers on skateboards as a train, towed wagons with kids and adults in it. It never gave out like the other ones would leaving you on your face if it couldn’t handle an incline. It could haul up hills, help you stable down hills and stop you, along with wagon. It’s the best one on the market in my opinion. But I can only speak for the 1.0. It died recently only because it had been left out in the rain by the same younger family member. Never had the time to take it apart to see if it would work again so sombody else threw it out while I wasn’t home sadly

I got this hoverboard for my 9th birthday and it still works great today.( i’m now 13) But every once in a while it stops working for like 10 minutes but then you turn it on its fine and ready to go.

This has been the best hoverboard in it's size and price range, that I have tried, to date. I got it for my son's 6th birthday, 2 years ago. It has withstood the abuse that he and I have dishes out onto it. We now use it in combination with a hoverboard cart, and it seems like an entirely new toy. The best part about this hover board, is that it is truly SELF BALANCING. Turn it on and it levels itself out before you even climb on it. This cuts out the learning curve of having to activate/deactivate the board by stepping on/off the board. Getting on and off this board is so natural. Those ones with a pad you have to stand on before the board self balances, is a death trap. My neighbor had one and wrecked badly when his foot came up enough, that the motor on that side cut off.

We got this 2.0 a little before Christmas to give my son. It’s noisy and is making a grinding noise when he turns. He’s 60 pounds and this to me seems cheap. The rubber strips are always coming off too.

This unit offers immense value at a low price point and it's solidly built, ensuring the safety of the rider. The unit is awesome to ride.

When it was a trend I used my hover board all the time and then I got older and it was left in my closet for god knows how long. And then the other day me and my sister decided to charge our hoverboards up, she has a jetson hover board and I have the razor one, only because my first three hover boards decided to break the same year. Here’s charged but doesn’t start anymore and mine charged and took off as if it wasn’t in my closet for the longest time ever. Now I ride it around the house sometimes while my sister gets upset that her other brand hover board no longer works. Hover board aren’t the trend anymore but if your looking for a hover board for some reason let me just tell you stop what your doing and just buy this one. I’m convinced that it’ll last forever at this point. I don’t usually write reviews but this hover board definitely deserves one after such a long time!

The Razor Hovertrax 2.0 was my 12 year old daughter's favorite Christmas present, and she got and IPad the next year! She rode like a pro after about 2 weeks of practice!

After using one of their friends' hoverboard, I bought my two boys one. While these are recommended for 8 years and up, my boys are 6 and 7 and are jets on this thing. I tried and while I can crawl around the house, they are much better (practice I suppose). I am now waiting for the next birthday to get a second one to stop the arguments about who's turn it is. I don't currently make them wear a helmet, however considering the speed they are starting to travel I think that's going to change. Thanks for a great product.

Your never too old to learn something new. Let's just say i'm not in my 20's anymore but this was fun to ride and pretty easy. I didn't brake any speed records but I didn't fall either.

This is a great product for someone who wants to master balancing themselves. I felt I could never do this myself. But after a few attempts and some determination, I can use the hoverboard without any problem. I can balance without any problem. Just keeping my mind focussed on balancing myself makes me forget all the worries I have that day. Got one for my son too.

Always thought they looked cool, but didnt know how cool it was until i actually rode one.... Then i had to purchase one myself:) i love it i have fun with the kids. Goes at a good speeed and doesnt take much time to charge. !!! I love it! Thanks RAZOR , this product is amaziinggg...

Purchased for my nephew_-Ès birthday, it was the highlight of the party, all the kids went wild when he unwrapped his new Hovertrax. It is durable and a lot of fun. Great price, great product.

Razor USA does it again! My Kids love the Razor Hovertrax 2.0! Great product design and my kids love the smooth ride they have while riding the Razor Hovertrax 2.0. We also love that the product holds a good charge.

Got this Hovertrax 2.0 for my grandkids and they love it! Didn't take them long to learn to balance and ride with confidence.
