Q: Would this gate fit in a 77 inch doorway?

A: As you need to remove the panels in groups of two, you would be able to get it as close as 100 inches in length with the wall mounting brackets. After that you would need to put it in a u-shape or zig-zag pattern for it to fit the 77 inch opening.

A: You need to remove the panels in groups of 2 as they are male/female type connectors at the top and bottom.
