Q: Can I put 2 pieces together and place between hallway walls? Will it suction to the walls
A: Thank you for your question. While you can remove four panels to reduce the size to two, the mounting hardware must be used to secure it to the wall. This is a hardware-mounted system that requires drilling into a stud behind the drywall, as it is not a suction or tension mount.

Q: Can a panel be opened/closed like a door for an adult to pass through when product is being used as a wall mounted barrier?
A: Thank you for your question. The wall hinges on each side of the mounted barrier contain a locking boss that allows the attached end panel to be easily disconnected for passage.

Q: Can I use it to block the Christmas tree that I plan to put in a corner?
A: Thank you for your question. As long as the Superyard is set up properly according to the directions, you can use it to block a Christmas tree. This means that the Superyard either needs to be set up as an enclosure where the panels are connected together as it completely surrounds the tree, or, it can be used as a barrier that is hardware mounted at each end to a solid surface such as a wooden stud behind drywall. To prevent tipping, the panels should never be used as a freestanding barrier that is not attached with wall mounts at each end. If the panels cannot be secured or do not connect together to form an enclosure around the tree, it should not be used.

Q: I need this for a barrier for a room that's 20 feet wide, can you buy more than one gate and attach them together?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that two Superyards should not be connected together to extend the barrier size. The maximum number of panels that can be used with the wall mounts is 6. Exceeding this limit may compromise the stability of the barrier, increasing the risk of collapse if force is applied.

Q: Our opening is 126”, can I adjust the length of this to fit that opening exactly?
A: Thank you for your question. The Superyard Duo contains 6 panels along with mounting hinges for each end. When installed with the wall hinges, the length is 201 inches. You can remove panels to decrease the size or, as shown in the photos, simply angle the panels at the connection points to fit a smaller space. To fit a space of 126 inches, you could remove 2 panels to bring the length down to 137". It would not fit the space in a straight line and would require placing an angle within the joints to accommodate that length.

Q: Does this have ro be mounted? I am planning on placing around my dogs crate to have some room outside of it when I am gone. And wouldn't be able to be mounted.
A: Thank you for your question. The Superyard Duo has the option to be used as a barrier or as an enclosure. When using it as a barrier to block off an area, the wall mounts must be used to secure the panels so that it does not tip over. When using as an enclosure, the wall mounts are not used, but the two end panels must be connected to each other to create the enclosure. The panels should never be used freestanding without connecting the ends together to form an enclosure or without securing at each end with the wall mounts, otherwise the risk of it tipping over is increased.

Q: Can a person purchase two and combine them into an extra-large enclosure, or would that compromise stability?
A: Thank you for reaching out to us. The Superyard Duo (model 8671 and 8674) consists of 6 panels and should not be increased in size. When using it with the included wall mount kit, 6 is the maximum recommended number of panels to be used at once. Using more than 6 panels will cause the barrier to become unstable and it could collapse when weight is placed upon it, possibly causing damage or injury. Two sets should never be combined to make a large barrier.
