Great tool. I haven't had to use it yet but it's well made and has a lifetime warranty.

The best pipe wrenches hands down. They are able to be repaired with new parts and last a lifetime to begin with. Heirloom quality tools.

I have been in the plumbing trade for 25 + years and haven't found any pipe wrench that beats a rigid. They simply seem to bite on impact. I've used others that slip or twist to one side or the other when appling pressure. I've got a couple of aluminum 14" and 12" that are indispensable on the job site. They are in my book the best.

Rigid changed the handles. There is more material at the jaws which doesn't help in tight locations. Also the handle edges aren't as rounded on the edges and are not comfortable in the hand. When you use them all day long 5 days a week these changes are a big deal. I don't like them and neither does any of our crew.
Best wrenches out there!

I have 3 different size wrenches, all aluminum and they always work great! They never slip and they always grab even when the teeth are full of dirt and debris. Well worth the money and they will always be in my truck no matter what!

Don’t let the weight fool ya. I use these on job above and below water. Light weight is a must when you are a couple hundred feet below the surface.

Everyone is making pipe wrenches these days, many will get the job done but when you are using these every day professionally and you just want the best grip, light weight and just know you will be able to break the fitting loose Ridgid is the wrench you reach for. Even for home use why wouldn't you want to buy a wrench once and have it forever knowing when you need it the job will get done. No joke these are worth every penny, buy Ridgid pipe wrenches and you will never regret it, buy cheap and you will wish you bought Ridgid, I guarentee it !!!
Lightweight wrench still packs a punch.

Was a little skeptical considering how light the aluminum wrench is but it works like a charm and I don’t feel like I am carrying around a dumbbell all day.

I’ve had aluminum wrenches for 20 years, I refuse to use anything else. I have them from 14”-36” and they’re all champs. If you’re slinging pipe all day, don’t Jill yourself with cast iron wrenches, spend the money on aluminum.
Would love a 10L and 14L

Hands down my favorite wrench. Some jobs make you take off your cheaters I would love a long handle option for these wrenches. I would never even think about purchasing from another company if these variants were available.

I’ve been using Ridgid pipe wrenches for plumbing over the past year and they’re a game changer! The lightweight aluminum means I can easily bring them with me under a house to make a repair. And the loop at the bottom of the handle is perfect for tethering when I’m working off the ground. My 14” has been put to the test and it’s passed. Can’t wait to get a set of 18” wrenches!

I have used and abused Ridgid pipe wrenches for years!! From my start in the pipe trades back in 1995 to my days now as a maintenance/service fitter in healthcare, these wrenches have served me well, in fact, the 14 inch aluminum one in my cart I have had since 1995!! I plan on handing them down to my kids if they so choose to choose a career in the steamfitting, plumbing, or HVAC/R trades.

My 40 plus years of remodeling, plumbing & gas has been cut short by a heart surgery and 6 grafts, but your tools are still going strong. I’ve seen cheap Chinese wrenches break in half but never Rigid. Used them in Wrightsville Beach & Wilmington, N. Carolina, to Raleigh, to Virginia mountains and Alabama. Unlike politicians Rigid tools are utterly reliable ! The Commercial flex/drain and residential 2”-4” drain machines are on this Veterans’ wish list. BUY AMERICAN. Buy RIGID . - Mark Kelley and Vince Hunt.

I’ve got 13 wrenches on the truck. If it isn’t rigid it is in a ranch. However my newest 14 inch aluminum chipped a tooth. I also dropped it off a scissor lift. Can’t really knock the brand considering I dropped it from 20 feet in the air. Still wouldn’t go to a job site without my wrenches. my threader or or my 2 press tools.
