The hold of the bobby pins was normal to above average. My only complaint for this product is that my hair sometimes got suck and tangled up in the bejeweled pieces of the bobby pin. It was worst with the pearl bobby pin due to the pearl's size and it not being flush with the rest of the pin. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and love finding excuses to wear these for all sorts of occasions.

Some have pearls and others have rhinestones on them. The silver is nice and shiny. The bobby pins themselves are nice and flat so you are able to gather your hair and pin them into place. The accessories on the clips add a nice embellishment for your hair. I was able to gather a nice amount of hair to pull back and place in the bobby pin. These will be fun to use just as an everyday clip to add some sparkle to your style.
