Q: Does the outer film contain any plastic products or byproducts?

A: Our Laundry Packs pouches are made from virgin #2 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. These can be recycled along with other plastic films. Most grocery stores will have a bin for recycling plastic bags and our plastic pouches can be added to that. We recently make the pouches recyclable, which was an improvement we were very excited about. Previously, the pouches were made with layers of multiple types of plastic that cannot be recycled together. However, we know our work is not done yet. We are working on ways to eliminate the use of virgin petroleum from this pouch and from all of our packaging components.

Q: How does this brand, this scent specifically, work on odors in clothing?

A: Our recommendation is to use the product as directed on the product label. For alternative usage outside of the standard recommendation, we suggest that you consult with a professional. Q: So these can be dropped into a front loader and clothes immediately added, right? They don't need to be dissolved before adding clothes, right?

A: Hi there- Correct, we recommend placing the pack directly into the empty washer drum- before loading in clothing/ garments (to avoid the pack getting bunched up in the clothing/ garments). The pack will fully dissolve once it is immersed in water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love these because I appreciate the clean ingredients, eco-friendly vibe and ease of use but unfortunately, they just didn’t work well for me. I followed the directions and made sure to toss the pack into the drum before adding clothes, and I tried both hot and cold water cycles. Even with that, I noticed my clothes didn’t feel or smell as clean as they usually do, especially on dirtier or heavier loads. One time, the pack didn’t fully dissolve, and I found a solid mass of detergent in the bottom of the drum. I love the idea of a fragrance-free, gentle, pre-measured detergent—especially for sensitive skin—but I need something that actually gets the job done. Sadly, these didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for. Final thoughts: Great ingredients, great concept, but the performance just fell short for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This @seventhgeneration laundry detergent is not what I expected. I got it complimentary to review and honestly, I won’t continue using it. Unfortunately, it left detergent spots on my clothes and I had to rinse them again. I followed the recommended directions. So I’m not sure what happened. I do like the resealable bag and that it doesn’t have a scent.

More importantly, my family and I didn’t have any skin rash from this product. Can’t say I noticed any stain lessening on my pair of pants but I’d recommend this product and see if it works for you!

I love the convenience of tossing 1 or 2 pods into the base of my washer before washing a load of laundry. There are no dyes or fragrances. This detergent fights stains by using 4x bio-enzymes.
