A: The battery is easy to remove and put back on. Just press and hold the Battery Release Button, then slide out the battery. To reinstall the battery, slide it into the slot in the back of the handheld vacuum.

I had high hopes for this vacuum based on shark's good reputation. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well. The suction is far worse than my old Dyson, and it gets clogged *every* *single* *time* I use it. It's so frustrating. I have to pull everything apart and unclog the hose and pull dust out of the brush. It does not suck up anything larger than a hair or a piece of thread. Crumbs? Cereal? forget it. Just pushes it around. Terrible vacuum.

For pet hair, this vacuum got clogged every time I used it. We constantly had to take it a part to unclog while vacuuming. The vacuum also will shut off after a few minutes of use even though the battery is still charged. As long as I turn it off and on again then it works, but it gets to be a pain when it happens every 30 seconds. Would not buy again

Love how it maneuvers i can get around things with ease I really like that its handle bends so I can reach way under furniture and the tools that it came with gets into the cracks of my couch and I can also vacuum the surface with a quickness. The noise level is about the same as my other vacuum .The filters in it keep the dust from getting back into the air which is really a winner for me and the basket is very easy to empty. I love that it is jointed to fold in half for storage purposes . I am very happy with it's functionality! I would recommend it to everyone.

This photo is what the vacuum collected on one run through of our apartment (and we used our old vacuum the day before) it picks up a lot and I love that you can switch is to carpet or hard floor mode. It charges quick and seems to hold its charge for a while. This is a great new addition to our household!

It had a decent charge out the box, will have to see how it holds up. The dust bin is decent size and is easy to empty and clean. I wish it had a mount to stow it away when not in use. Besides that, overall a really powerful vacuum that is easily maneuverable.

It's so easy to move around the house while using it. Also, it takes in so much dust before I have to dump it. When it came to the sound it was so peaceful. My dog could take his naps and using the vacuum was so easy.

It is also a very quiet tool which I appreciate rather than those nosy ones. it is also very easy to maneuver around my whole house I’m able to clean my whole house in a total of 20 minutes. This is our second shark. Wore the first one out by using it too much. Lol. My wife absolutely loves this model. The feature we love best is how it bends to go underneath couches beds, and other furniture. It really makes it easy. It works really well too for using as a duster or sucking debris from window, ledges and other areas. Highly recommend recommended.

Picks up dog hair amazingly, great suction, quick to charge, and battery lasts quite a while. I was able to do multiple rooms and the stairs a few times on one charge!

I have ordered and tried half dozen (more probably) and this does it all, for me. At first I was stoked with the Shark/Ninja self cleaning/suction but battery time wasn’t good, the model I ordered didn’t have detachable battery and only came with one extra cleaning tool. It also needs a lot of room for storage and next to an outlet. I liked a lot but this vortex has mostly all plus I love that the battery is detachable and folds over to compact for great storing, and don’t need to be next to an outlet to charge in between uses. Yes, you have to empty the tank but other than that this wins for sure, over all. I just looked at a newer version and I am definitely sticking with a bendable stick, detachable battery, and easy storage. I may swap out becaus newer version is on sale en and has more accessories. But def do a bendable stick if you have pets, kids, lots of foot traffic, dust (building going on around you) and saves your back bending over and not getting those nearly impossible reaches without moving the actual furniture.

The dust compartment is large enough to clean the whole house & then empty, it's as loud as a general vacuum - & the battery lasts a long time.

It is not that noisy and the battery life seems to last a good bit. My only complaint would be that it is kind of heavy and awkward for me when vacuuming the ceiling and such since I’m only 5 foot.

The suction power overall is nice and it's easy to maneuver around corners. It was a little bit on the loud side although. A full battery charge could last me roughly 30 minutes and it's okay. But it does have a large dust capacity so I am able to do several cycles without emptying it. Overall a really nice vacuum and I enjoyed it.
