Sharper Image Aroma 2 Ultrasonic Humidifier with Aromatherapy: Cool Mist, 14-Hour Run, No Filter, 100-300 sq. ft. Coverage

I was replacing a humidifer that had a couple of features I did like and was missing a couple of features. This well-designed humidifier has it ALL - I THINK. It was important to me that this had an automatic shut-off and even on the low setting, there is a generous mist produced. At the low setting, I can leave it on all night if I need to because the capacity can handle 8 hours. Eight hours for this compact machine is wonderful. But the best part is that if for some reason I needed to increase the flow and it emptied before I realized it, there is an automatic shut-off and that's something the one I replaced didn't have. I found that I did like the color tones on the replaced machine and this has it too, but there is one problem. It states that you can have one static color, but I don't know how you can make that choice and it doesn't state this in the manual. Either the button is not working or I need to find out how to do it, It's color on or color off with colors rotating constantly if on. So basically, if I can find out how to do it, it's only an issue with the text in the manual. Take the time to explain a little further please. My high ratings will be based on the fact that I think I just do not have the right instructions.

It is easy to use, plus the many features it has is great. I love the sleek modern look as well. It works as a diffuser for oils, it's a Humidifier that is wonderful for helping with dry skin, helps with dry sinuses and dry cough. Allows us to have more restful sleep. I love that it has pretty glow with different colors. I love that itbcan run for up to 14 hours. It's perfect for small areas or small stands. It works wonderfully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this humidifier for my husband's office since his skin gets extremely dry in the winter months. The design is sleek and just beautiful. It is also very quiet when on. It matches the design in his office and would probably match in every room of the house. It has two mist settings which is different from my previous defuser/humidifier. It is a cool mist humidifier. There is seven different color options depending on what you feel/like at the moment or the color light can simply be turned off. There are a few buttons that are self explanatory and very easy to use. The timer is great and has 2,4 or 6 hour limit. We don't defuse many oils because of allergies, but when we do it works great. I do recommend using distilled water to prolong the life of your defuser. I definately recommend this defuser/humidifier.

The Sharper Image - AROMA 2 Ultrasonic Humidifier is working well to hydrate my bedroom and my nose. The colored led lights are very cool and set my mood-whatever it may be! It is a little difficult to fill: you have to find something to hold it upright. Also, the led "on" light is REALLY bright: it lights up my entire room and that's too much as it interferes with my sleep so i can't use it overnight. Otherwise its great: clean lined and modern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I must say that not only do I like having this humidifier in the bedroom ( the cold is making my place very dry) but I love that it gives the bedroom some nice ambiance ( when you have it change colors). I like the timer setting, that it has a low and a high setting feature. It's easy to put water in the tank and very easy to see how much is left ( though the outside isn't opace you can still see the water). Had a nice design, looks great just sitting out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this small humidifier in my bedroom and it works quite well. It's pretty small and fits on my dresser (also looks really sleek). Haven't had any problems so far with build-up but I usually buy distilled water to fill the tank. The only con that I have noticed so far is that you can slightly hear water dripping sounds but this doesn't bother me too much.

My kids enjoy the lights on it of course but I like the sleek look so it isn't a big bulky item just sitting on the dresser it fits right in with the rest of the room decor and looks like it's meant to be there. The mist quality is great my son suffers from really dry nose during the winter with the heat which leads to bloody noses but since using this humidifier he hasn't had a single bloody nose.

Once water and fragrance is wanted just start it and you begin to have a beautiful feeling of calmness. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use, not too many confusing buttons! I like that I can go between all colors, just stay on one color, or have no color at all. Although personally I am a light sleeper and the blue “on” button is enough to keep me awake- so personally I let it run before bed and then shut it off. It is small- but for the amount of water- on “high “ it lasted several hours until it needed to be refilled! It is a nice cool mist that works perfect for my small bedroom. I also like that it has high/low settings. In addition to 2, 4, or 6 hour timer! I haven’t had to clean it yet, but it is awkward in shape so I can’t imagine that will be the easiest. Also, unless it is “upside down” with the refill nozzle pointing up- it does seem to drip. It also has a rotating mist nozzle, which kind of changes the direction of the most- but not drastically.
