SKIL 15 amps 7 in. Corded Brushed Worm Drive Circular Saw

The saw itself has worked very well cutting two-inch thick granite stair treads and bluestone for a patio, but the thin-walled mesh-reinforced PVC water-hose soon failed: it tends to kink, and after only a couple of weeks of relatively light use it developed a pinhole leak at the kink and started spraying a geyser of water 15 feet into the air. Of course the leak happened at the worst time, during a spell of really good weather at the end of the season when I was hoping to complete the job before the freezing overnight temperatures arrived, and I wasted one of those warm and sunny days dealing with the leak. The hose should be stainless braided hose, which doesn't kink yet is flexible enough and able to deliver sufficient water to the blade. I've replaced the larger of the two hoses with braided, and it's working well.

This concrete saw is the best compact heavy duty saw that I have used. Its dependable and strong enough to do small and large jobs. I would 110% Recommend it to any concrets cutting professional.

Works great and easy to handle. Would be nice if it came with a blade and cut deeper

This saw has great power , I was very impressed on how good it cut through concrete. To be honest I didn’t think it was going to cut as good as it did. I will highly recommend this saw to other contractors. This saw cuts through concrete like a hot knife through butter. I also like the water attachment that came with the saw. Great saw for a even a novice at sawcuts in concrete. My garage was just built last December, and I wanted to add a little more flair to the garage floor than boring old concrete. I did a lot of research into decorative concrete cutting. I found other saws that are 5 times more expensive than the medusaw. But with this saw, you get the same effect. It does everything that's needed to make your cuts. The plunge cuts are easy for getting your line started. The depth gauge and stop make it worry-free. I'm extremely happy with dust control. The vacuum I used may not have to power needed to completely get rid of the dust when cutting dry, but when cutting wet, you get ZERO dust. By using this saw, I'm saving myself a major expense, and I get what I really want out of my garage floor.

Wow...I put in a pool with a concrete deck around it. I wanted concrete tile, but could not afford the tile/labor so I had a slab poured. I used the saw to cut lines in the concrete to simulate the tile. I had tried my regular 12 amp skil saw, but it made a huge mess, bogged down terribly and was really slow. The cuts DID look great, but I was dreading cutting 1000 sq. ft of concrete into 24"x24" blocks. I thought I would try the Medusaw. What a difference! This thing buzzes right through the concrete, glides smoothly on the wheels, distributes the perfect amount of water in exactly the right spots, and does a great job controlling the dust. I was able to make perfectly straight cuts in no time at all (relatively speaking.....it was still a big job). The only accessory I would like to see? A handle that would allow you to stand up and walk behind it! Advice.....be sure to rinse if off when finished. Concrete slurry is difficult to remove once dry. Great job on the saw Skilsaw. Todd

This saw is more than powerful enough for cutting control and decorative joints in concrete or overlays and will not slow down under pressure. The saw has integrated roller wheels on the base plate which work quite well while following a line, no need for straight edge. There is a plunge lock feature for convenience and depth accuracy. The saw has an integrated dust collection port built into the unit which collects about 90% of the dust created while using the saw, there also a GFCI included on the power cord for safety. We will be demonstrating the proper use of this saw in our training classes.

The think I like the most was that I could make a straight cut without having the need to you boards and weights to hold it down. One think that would suggest would be to make the guide on front the saw more sturdy and also tu be able to disconnect the water without having to turn of water valve. I had an old setup similar to this that a friend loaned me. It was put together from a kit bought seperately. This works as well or better than that saw straight out of the box. I did find the water feed a bit spare for my tastes and maybdrill the holes out a bit bigger.
