SkinCeuticals Phyto+ Botanical Gel

I have been using this product for nearly two months and have not noted any real change to my discoloration. I cannot recommend this product at all.

Works great! I can feel it very calming to my skin after applying my Vit C. However, I was curious what the difference is between the Phyto + vs the Phyto Corrective Gel? Thank you.

This is a great serum to keep your skin looking fresh and even toned. It smells very botanical and penetrates the skin well. I love how well it moisturizes the skin giving it a dewy feel.

I have used this product for a month now, I haven't noticed any of my dark spots improving. I was hoping the green color would at least counteract my redness but it does not. If you are to buy skinc get the Vitamin C serum. I have been using the C E Ferulic serum for 2 months and that has made the most noticeable difference as far as brightness goes. I am trying out discoloration defense next.

Sorry, but this product made no difference on my face, did not do any discoloration of any dark spots on my face. I wouldn't recommend it!

Soothing, calming and hydrating to my skin. love it after my microneedling trestment

I use this after CE Ferulic in the morning and after the retinol .5 at night. It makes all the difference. When I first started using it more than a decade ago, I would wipe my hands on my forearm - just to make sure I used every drop, even coating my palms lightly with water to spread things out on my arm. It was actually months later that I noticed my arm was looking much less discolored. Age spots we’re diminished or gone. Had I noticed my face getting better too? Sure. But I was post laser and would not have known to attribute so much improvement to phyto+. My arm was an unintentional control for the skin care regimen. Love this product. It I now use it on my face, chest, hands and arms on purpose!

So far so good looks very nice and I like it on my skin I have very sensitive skin

I purchased this to calm the redness in my skin and it has helped so much! Very calming & I enjoy the smell. This gel also made my skin much softer. I have the Phyto-Corrective masque as well and both products are wonderful!

I’ve been a fan of this product for many years. It reliably evens out skin tone and diminishes discoloration all over for a brighter and more even skin. I use this after a vitamin C serum during the day and it keeps my skin vibrant and dewy. Thanks, Skinceuticals!

I've used this for years. Its more of a soothing botanical. It's green! After washing my face I must have this soothing serum. It moisturizes, but its not a moisturizer, it's a serum. It maintains the lightening of peels and sunscreen. My skin daily cra bfg es the soothing botanicals and the hyaluacid.

I've started using this for about 2 weeks. This was after using a whole bottle, plus some of the their Discoloration Defense. I needed this for hyper pigmentation on my olive toned skin from some acne, but mainly melasma that got inflamed from a extremely high concentrated glycolic peel in Nov 2018. I went under Dr.'s care for the entire 2019 year with prescribed ointments to reduce inflammation which worked; and honestly is less costly from any Skinceuticals product. By 2020, my skin had become less hyper-sensitive, so I began using the Skinceaticals products that I had previously purchased; I started with the Skinceuticals DD product. I used the DD product, and didn't see significant results from that. I have seen results from this Phyto + within a few days, so I am happy with it for now, and will likely buy other products that contain kojic acid, along with a second bottle when I need to. I would still consider my skin sensitive (not hypersensitive), and I react fine this Phyo+ product. I also use this product per their recommendation, which is to layer it over an Antioxidant. I apply it to my entire face vs. only to the discolored areas.

I have been battling breakouts since the teenage years, and my mother works in dermatology so I have had access to every possible product to fight it. This has been the BEST product I have found so far for moisturizing my skin. I have combination skin that would get SO DRY after washing my face, but then break out so badly when I applied moisturizer. This product gives enough moisture but it doesn't cause horrible breakouts. I can't say it is perfect, but I absolutely love it and like I said, it is the best product I have been able to find that will moisturize without leading to breakouts. I keep ordering it and am incredibly satisfied. The only frustrating thing is nowhere can I find something that truly give me the difference between this product and the Phyto Corrective Gel, yet the Phyto+ is more expensive. I might try out the Corrective Gel instead just to compare since nobody can do it in writing apparently...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this item on a regular basis. However recently I've noticed the color has been darker than before. What is the reason for this? Has the formula changed? Has anyone else experience this issue? Does heat or altitude affect the color? I ask because I notice this after packing this in my check in luggage and flying oversea. Just wondering if the airplanes temperature can affect the color.
