I have been buying Stila liquid eyeliner for years. Literally spending tons of money on it. This eyeliner was so awful i couldn't believe it. It didnt work from the start and im mad at myself for not returning it. I would never purchase the matte again

Ulta was out of my standard KVD tattoo liner so I bought the Stila matte liquid liner ad a backup. It was terrible! The liner dried out after just a few uses. Also, it didnt last all day and i found myself going over the liner with a black eye pencil. What an expensive product to not work. Save yourself the time and effort, get the KVD tattoo liner or the L'Oreal Cat Eye Liner.
Barely got to use it.

I have been using the satin stila eyeliner for years. I bought this one on accident but figured it would be fine. Just like many other uses, it dried up and stopped working very quickly. Won't make the same mistake again

I was shocked by the comments. I purchased after swatching with a sample. I used to use NYX liquid matte liner but recently I found that the liner dries quick in the tube, not as long lasting as it once was :( I have used KVD tattoo liner, I like it but after a while it fades and is completely gone from my inner corners. I tried this one and surprisingly loved it! So far it works good, very dark and love it!

had high hopes for this.... doesnt nearly live up to its satin counterpart. liked the way this applied, but started transferring all over my lids very quickly and by the end of the day a majority of it somehow settled up in my crease :/ the regular stila stay all day has never done this to me.

I have been using this brand for 8 years and this has been my favorite eyeliner. But, recently I purchased a new pen and the tip was dry, and the tip dragged on my eyelids causing choppy looking eyeliner. Very dissatisfied and disappointed

I used to use the KVD ink liner, switched to the stila classic stay all day liner because the kvd quality went down. Tried this and loved the super matte effect but the pen dried out within a week. i kept it top down to help, but it still dried out.

I don't buy much makeup, much less leave reviews on said makeup. However, this is the WORST eyeliners I've ever bought. I was convinced to buy it & stray from my better than sex liquid eyeliner - HUGE REGRET. I can't get this to go on consistently!!!

This was recommended by a store associate. I used it for a week, then it stopped working consistently. I'm not sure if I just got a dud, but after reading other reviews, others have had bad experiences as well.

I love the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, but my local Ulta was out of the regular formula in black. I saw the Matte version and gave it a try. It is SO DRY and so much harder to apply than the regular formula. It's also a lot less pigmented. Skip this and get the original (which I'd give 5 stars).

I grab this thinking it would like like the original stila sray all day eyeliner, but no, it's the worse. Was great the first time I used but within the week, it dried out. After shaking, it does start to apply afain but comes off super patchy and blotchy. It ends up messing up my makeup and then i have to redo my eyeshadow. I'm a long time make wearer and would consider my skills pretty good. I love the original formula but the matte one sucks. Do not buy!

I accidentally purchased the matte version not realizing it so I thought I would test it out. I have never used such a horrible product before. There's convenient store makeup that's better than this eyeliner. It dries out after only several uses. I've ruined my makeup every morning after attempting to get SOME liquid out of the pen. The only resolution is to get my money back for this trash.

Youll get about 5 uses max out of this pen. I've purchased twice because I thought I just got a bad product the first time but both of them dried out really fast. its good for the first few uses but don't expect much life out of the product.
