Story aside, this game is well rounded a fantastic and fun game just to play to mess around in. I hate to compare it to Grand Theft Auto, but there are some similarities- though there is an overarching story, the real fun is in the small adventures you can make yourself. I love how you can craft airplanes and hover bikes and spent a ton of time.just exploring. The map is threefold (sky, land, underground) so there is ample content, enemies, and treasure. There were so many quests and I intend to 100% them, even if they are seemingly endless haha. The side quests are high quality too and always give good money and gear. So all in all there's infinite value in this game and the story is amazing to top it off.

Everything you loved about Breath of the Wild but turned up to 100. Nintendo expands on the horizon to above & below, with caves galore. Though the story aspect is still lacking, the gameplay more than makes up for it giving us even more freedom & creative choices.

I absolutely fell in love with Breath of the Wild, so getting the sequel was a must. I love that they brought the familiarity of the BotW Hyrule but added new things to discover and show how Hyrule has changed with this iteration. I think the main dungeons/puzzles were an improvement, however the sage abilities definitely paled in comparison to the champion abilities in both usefulness and ease of use. The graphics are as stunning as BotW, and it was nice to check in on some of the characters (although some were noticeably missing… I’m looking at you, Kass). The amount of customization is pretty impressive; be it weapons, Link’s attire, and even the paraglider. I can see how some may get overwhelmed, especially when it comes to weapons/building things; however I think it’s not too bad once you get a good feel for what works best for you. The additional horse slots at the inn is awesome, as I still ride my trusted steeds (even if there are more practical travel options). The ability to bring your horses from BotW into TotK is also something that brought me joy, even if we didn’t get the ancient horse gear this go around. I do wish there was a bit more post calamity tie in/explanation. The destruction is still very visible, but major landmarks of the calamity are noticeably missing with no real explanation. I get it’s a new title, not BotW 2, but it’s still a sequel. It’s definitely a changed Hyrule, it’s not so lonely, it’s less “wild,” there’s more characters throughout.
Lots of hype but games not that good

I played through all of breath of the wild and have been a huge Zelda fan for years but this game just wasn't good, I played through all of the dungeons and put in a lot of hours but it was so boring I just quit.
Worth every penny honestly

I bought this game for my husband for Christmas because he loved Breath of the Wild. I never got into it but he asked me to just solo play for 10 minutes to see if I liked it and well not I’m like 120 hours in and can’t stop. 😳

Good game, except I would suggest getting Breath of the Wild instead. The game has great graphics and good puzzles. Also, I like the fighting mechanics, since there is so many advanced things. The only thing I don’t like compared to Botw is that the puzzles (Shrines) are a worse and have lower fighting fun. Besides that, I love this very adventurous, fun game.

I love this game. I bought it on release day but have yet to finish it - I really don't want to. The graphics are great, the story as well, the gameplay and additions since BOTW, it's all amazing.

Massive open world! Tons to explore and do after 300 hours of gameplay. There's a creative engineering aspect to this game I've yet to see in any other. Amazing!

Hello, So, I'm not big on the series itself, I've beaten BOTW, and Phantom Hourglass. I've also beaten Four Swords. I got this as a birthday gift, made the Gal happy and it arrived earlier than the expected due date, to that I am absolutely grateful to put a smile on her face, and with that my thanks is given! Money well spent. - Hollin

I know alot of OG fans of zelda arent huge fans of BOTW and now TOTK, but let me tell you, as someone who played previous zelda games (and loved them as well) these installments are among my favorite! BOTW took my breath away in a way I realize I won’t get to experience that new breathless feeling while playing TOTK because the game picks up right where BOTW left off, with most if the mechanics being the same but with lots of new additions also that keep this new game exciting and fresh while also being familiar. I’m so happy nintendo kept this style of gameplay and art, I even wouldnt mind a trilogy :) Well done nintendo, I havent finished the game yet, but I doubt I will be disappointed in the game so far, i’m having to much fun!

I have been playing LOZ: TotK for a couple of months now and it is a great game so far. I think this really delivers on what Zelda fans have come to love from these games.
It isnt botw. Nothing can replace botw, but this is a great addition

I loved botw. This was a little different to get used to. But overall I am really happy with this game. It does feel like a different game, but still the same baseline. Honestly it is vey thing I could have wanted for it to be.
Fun and pretty easy
