A: If you feel your skin has dirt on it i suggest double cleansing. Use this balm then go in with an everyday cleanser after. You can actually do this everyday is you like

A: Hi there, either way! Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm can be used alone or as a first step in a double cleanse. It rinses clean with no oily residue, like with some other balms, so there’s no need for a second cleanse—only if it’s your preference. Although we haven’t tested our products for non-comedogenic certification, we haven’t had any complaints of pore clogging. And all of our products are formulated to the highest standards in the world (European Union standards), banning over 1,300 toxic ingredients to make the cleanest products possible with effective results. I love this cleansing balm!! I’ve used it for maybe 3 or more years now. It doesn’t break me out and I don’t think it smells bad like other reviews say. Other cleansing balms are too thick and leave a residue on your skin. This one doesn’t do that to me. I always double cleanse after using and have no issue with breaking out or feeling greasy.

I have seen this all over social media and I finally got to try it, safe to say I will keep repurchasing this. As an acne prone girly I’m always scared to try new things but I didn’t get any breakouts and it actually dissolved my makeup including my mascara & sunscreen so quickly. My eyelashes tend to fall out when I rub too hard and I don’t have to do that with this anymore. Plus the smell is divine so this is such a win!

The only good thing I will say about this cleansing balm is that it did remove my makeup. In the item description, it says that it doesn’t leave an oily residue...yes it does! I have sensitive skin/acne prone skin and I started breaking out after a few days (which resolved after discontinuing it).

I bought this after my fav neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser was discontinued and was looking for a new daily cleanser that can remove eye makeup. This balm easily removes makeup. It leaves skin feeling very soft and smooth, and felt very hydrating on my combination skin. It has a light pleasant smell and doesn’t irritate my skin. However, (for me at least) it can only be used as a pre cleanser. The first two times I used it as a standalone product and it left an oily film that was especially noticeable on my eyelids and slightly blurred my vision, even with a lot of rinsing with warm water. Then, I started having acne in spots I’d never had it before on my face. I now treat it kind of like micellar water just to remove makeup, then rinse with a regular facial cleanser after to remove any residue and my skin is much happier. That being said, I probably won’t buy it again as micellar water is easier and I’d rather have a one and done cleanser.

If I could give this product 0 stars I would. It broke me out so bad when I had my clear skin after acutane. I even gave it to my mom that does not have acne prone skin and has super dry skin and even she broke out, which nothing makes her break out. Do not get this product, there are so many other better makeup melting balms.

My skin is not very sensitive and I rarely get any breakouts or irritation from new products. This stuff really clogged my pores and made me break out all around my chin. It leaves a bit of a film on your face when you use it. It took me a few days to realize this is what was breaking me out, and my skin immediately started looking less congested when I switched to another cleansing balm. Avoid!! Cleansing balms should help dissolve gunk in your pores, I’ve never had one clog pores before.
This is a must have if you have dry skin!!

I love love love this!!! If you have dry skin, this is the product for you. I pair it with La Roche Posay Purifying Foaming Cleanser and I literally have perfect, glass skin. I’ve genuinely never seen my skin look or feel this way. I’m not sure how it is on combination/oily skin as it is an oil based cleanser, but for us dry skin baddies, you can’t really get much better than this. This is the first time in my life I’ve felt confident enough to go out completely bare faced and it’s because this product is actually magical; I didn’t start seeing results with my other cleanser until I started using this as a pre cleanser.

It got rid of my makeup and sunscreen but it left my skin so dry and flaky after using it. I’ve used a different cleansing balm before (heimish all clean balm) which didn’t dry me out I’ll probably just finish this small sample jar then go back to that one. Also this balm doesn’t dissolve very well when mixed with water which is what I was kinda expecting. The other one I like literally turns into milk and isn’t strong smelling. Again, good at taking off tinted mineral versed sunscreen but super drying and didn’t rinse well. Also, smells like an herbal version of Vicks. It also turned my cheeks kinda pink

Wanted to love this product but unfortunately it dried out my skin so bad. My neck was bright red, itchy and flaky. My face has been dry, scaly to the touch, red and flaky. This has ruined all the hard work I’ve put into my skin.

I’ve been using this balm for a year, I’ve bought two of the big ones, the last one I bought, it’s terrible! My eyes turn red, they hurt and burn, ( I applied the product with my eyes closed and it didn’t rub my eyes much). Even so, this is terrible, I have to use cold water and wait almost 5 minutes for the burning to go away. Surely they changed the formula because it wasn’t like that.
