Not to sure why, but I do assume that the product is good and works well as I have had a thermometer of the same brand prior. I was looking forward to replacing my old one with this one, but it's all good. Vicks is a great brand in itself.

This would be GREAT for young kids as it’s slightly flexible and waterproof so it can be used orally, under the arm and rectally. My only complaint is that it didn’t come with any type of cover or case

Overall, it’s an okay thermometer, but there are better options on the market for speed and durability. It works in a pinch, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my go-to device.

It took just a few seconds to read, beeped a few times so you know it’s finished and lit up green for an easy read! If the temp is high, it does show red instead of green but when I tested it to add media I didn’t have a fever so I couldn’t share that.

One thing I love about this that other thermometers don’t have is it tells me if the temperature is normal, fever or high fever right on the screen. It also is super fast and as advertised only takes up to 8 seconds for the results. One thing I wish it had was a cap tip, but other than that it is great
