A: Hi there Chris! To adjust between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), make sure the device is in the off position. Then, press and hold the “mode” button for 6 seconds until it enters temperature change mode. Press the “mode” button again to toggle between the two units. Q: What temperature does the “HI” indicator signal? (On both ear and forehead)

A: The “HI” indicator signals a body temperature higher than 43.0°C (109.4°F) on both ear and forehead measurements. To remedy this try the following: • Check for obstructions or dampness prior in the area the temperature is being taken. • Check the operation environment. Environment changes will greatly influence the measurement. • If you are changing environments then the temperature change between the two might be too drastic. Let the thermometer rest in the new environment for at least 10 minutes to find the new balance. Then take temperature reading as normal.

A: Hi Darc73290, to mute the beeping sound press the "start" button to turn on the thermometer. Then press and hold the "mode" button on the thermometer for 6 seconds. The screen will show OFF with the muted icon. To turn the sound back on simple repeat the last action until the screen reads ON.

Very inaccurate. I can take temp 3 times and it gives me 3 different readings (99-103)….today my son was sent home from school, nurse thermometer read 100.3, this thermometer said 97.7…I used my oral and it gave me same reading as nurse.

I’ve had this thermometer for about 6 months now and it’s not reliable. You can keep the thermometer in the same spot, take a temp, and get 4 different numbers in a row. Does my kid actually have a fever? Who knows.

Inaccurate it will say my child has a fever of 104 or 102 and then I’ll check her temp through thr ear and it says 99. But regardless if I try checking her temp twice in a row it gives me random numbers. Anywhere from 97 up to 104. I have another thermometer at home and it’s more accurate.

This is a great thermometer for checking temperature for my toddler. The user interface was easy and convenient to use and the information was easy to interpret. The digital displays are big and bright making it convenient. The results are displayed quickly and accurately. The buttons were simple to use as well. Overall I recommend this product to others based on quality and value.

This thermometer works great. Parents know that when kiddos are sick they can be cranky and sensitive. The touch-free forehead feature is great for that! You could even read a temperature while child or baby is sleeping. It is quick to set up out of the box and you can use it right away. I highly recommend this product for easy and accurate temperature reading.
