Hot air rises and my master bedroom upstairs gets 3 to 4 degrees hotter in the Summer than downstairs--even with my ceiling fan going. The one air vent just isn't enough to keep the room comfortable. This little floor fan over the vent helps push the cooler air out into the room. I especially like the three speeds and easy to tilt.
