I bought a second one to keep air moving around the firebox, the first to keep heat circulating to the music room, with a 3 degree gradient and electric heat off. Quiet on low level, always on for winter. So proud of myself, I call it red neck HVAC. We'll see for how long, anyway bought a little redundancy. It says not to hang it so read the directions first before you get too far. LIked the picture of the wood firebox from Anonymous Influenster.

Very disappointing. I was hoping the vertical positioning would be an enhancement but the highest power setting could not even match the lowest power setting on my small round Vornado fan. This new model is clunky and unwieldy. I was hoping it would be sleek and more powerful.

Typical excellent quality and design as expected from Vornado. I like the window and vertical options. Perfect for next to a desk. Would recommend.

This is like the Swiss Army knife of fans. It works just about anywhere and the handy 8ft grounded cord packs up neatly when not in use with the cord wrap and clip. I've been using it as a jobsite fan for drying wet subfloor, while drywalling and painting, and even just to circulate stale air onsite. I wouldn't say it's super quiet but certainly not very loud. The buttons are nice and sealed and it dusts off easily with the smooth finish. I really like the stand design but it could be more "heavy duty" and the grippy feet have a hard time on uneven surfaces. Overall it's a great, powerful little fan with an awesome, sleek design. I never buy a fan from anyone other than Vornado.

This fan is incredibly durable, and helps circulate our wood stove heat throughout the house without being bulky and taking up all the space a box fan would. I love that it can be used both horizontally and as a tower fan, and has a few speed settings. It is quiet, too, and although a little less powerful than I anticipated, it still works well for what we needed it for. Half the time I forget that it’s on, but it provides just enough white noise and helps move the heat through our home. After using a box fan for a few months, this was an excellent upgrade!

I like the convenient cord wrap in the back (hate having to wrangle loose power cords), the silicone feet, and the handle. You can direct the air flow in a number of directions, including down toward the floor, as well as stand the unit up on its side. It moves quite a lot of air, that's easy to say. The lowest speed is almost whisper quiet while still moving air; the middle speed is like quiet white/brown noise and moves plenty of air; the highest speed moves a lot of air while being like medium loud white/brown noise - it is WAY QUIETER than a box fan at highest speed. The unit looks good, too, nice colors. While it is mostly plastic, it's a sturdy plastic, and that helps to keep the weight down, too, making it easier to carry and move around the room. Will be great in case I have a roof leak and need to dry out the attic insulation, or if I need to dry some of my large paint jobs. Excellent!

We can use it indoor and outdoor too .it has quiet so no stress of nah noise . It’s has adjustable speed upto three levels . Perfect .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is able to stand up and on the floor like in the picture. I noticed it is a lot quieter than my other fan immediately my dog Loki who is husky/Pomeranian loves to sit in front of it. I will definitely be using this all summer.

We used it after installing new floors in our home and we had some lingering smells and dust that we wanted out. This effectively did the job with no problems! It’s powerful but quiet and can be used vertically or horizontally to fit in any space you need. It has a long cord and 3 different settings to choose from. 5 stars!!! #complimentary

This air circulator can be placed horizontally or vertically anywhere in the house. It has fan on two sides so if kept in the corner it can circulate air for whole room. It has 3 fan speed and make less noise compared to above head fan. It has a long power cord and is easy to carry. It is powerful heavy duty air circulator and can make you feel cold very quickly. Loved it.
