Q: Dies the EVO fan blow out cool air like an air conditioner
submitted by Blessings - 1 year ago
A: No, it is not an air conditioner. It will bring the air in from the outside. I turn it on at night when the air cools down outside. It does help cool the room down.

It was definitely worth the investment, it actually sucks in the air and cools my space. It also reverses if say I was a cigarette smoker sucks in and blows it out. Remote controlled doesn't take up the whole window ❤️🔥💯
Great window fan. Exactly what I needed

I was hesitant to buy this fan because of the mixed reviews, but I realized that many reviewers seemed to think this was an air conditioner. To clarify, this is a window fan that draws in fresh air from outside. It has several useful features, including the ability to direct airflow in multiple directions, and you can also reverse it to blow air out of the room. One of the things I love most is using it on cool nights—it's perfect for cooling down my room while I sleep. If I get too cold, I can easily turn it off with the remote, which is super convenient. I also appreciate being able to bring in fresh air whether it’s warm or cool outside. This fan is also great for airing out spaces after cooking, especially after frying food. It’s lightweight and easy to move from window to window, which makes it even more versatile. I've had it for over a month now, and it’s been working perfectly. I hope it lasts, but so far, I’m really happy with this purchase. I wanted to share my experience so others aren’t discouraged by some of the negative reviews.
IT'S PERFECT!

i absolutely love this EVO low profile window fan air circulator. it's so quiet. it is sleek and looks so much better than the old style window fans. it puts out a lot of air. it's nice to have a remote because i like to put a window fan at the top of my window, rather than on the bottom. this is a wonderful fan.

Pro: Easy to install, very quiet. Con: Nothing to stop someone from simply pulling it out of the window to break in. A little lip or ledge would be helpful for that. Lost a star over the security issue.

I dislike that it doesn’t have enough power to blow out air probably good for a small bathroom. It doesn’t blow cold air just the air from outside 😢
Probably the best fan I've ever bought

This feels like an air conditioner without fully being an air conditioner. Very well worth the price and it’s helped me sleep so much better. Also not too loud

I am not one to write reviews but I am so impressed with this window fan that I couldn't resist. It is light weight, easy to install, flow rate and angle are easily adjustable, it is powerful and quiet and just does an amazing job of pulling the cool night air into an upstairs room of our home that is not well ventilated. The greatest feature is a "sleep" mode which feels like a soft, quiet breeze blowing across the room. This fan also comes with a remote control, which I haven't needed to use yet, but what a nice option. All in all, the best fan I have ever owned.
Ok but time will tell

First unit purchased was broke and had to be exchanged. 2nd works ok enough. I take seems fine exhaust seems weak. The screens do not cover the entire back side, the bottom portion is open where there is no screen wouldn’t let in a large animal but bugs can certainly enter, this could be a problem in an area with large amounts of mosquitoes. With the first one being broken not impressed with build quality and unit overall feels somewhat cheap. I think the foam as the way to fill in side gaps is a cheap option, it works ok for myself since the gap that needed filled was under 1”. Easy to use but overall I say it’s worth it as a semi cheap short term option
Great

I have 3/4 height windows in one of my rooms, so I was looking for a window fan which would fit them well. This looked to be what I was searching for. Sadly, it missed the mark by a lot. For the price compared to other window fans, the construction and quality feels cheap. And while similar window fans have accordian-style side panels which can be adjusted to fit any window, this comes with two foam bricks which need to be cut to fit. If you have more than two windows, I guess you are just out of luck. And if your windows aren't exactly the shape of the foam, the outdoors will find their way indoors. Within a few minutes of me putting this in and setting up the foam the best I could, a few flying insects had made their way in. And even on it's highest setting it doesn't feel like it is circulating air as well as advertised. I am disappointed not only in this fan, but that Target would sell something of such low quality.
Exhaust Mode works great at removing hot air from the room

I've been using this for the past week in NJ's heat wave. I have an old house, no central air. Usually when I come home my room feels like going into a hot car that's been baking in the sun but with the fan on Exhaust Mode, my room is easily 10 degrees cooler
Ok, not strong enough

This fan doesn't provide any relief. You are better off purchasing a box fan or dual window fan such as Holmes.
Would definitely recommend!!

I love the amount of air that blows out of this compact fan. It’s super easy to install in the window and the foam sides are included (just need to be cut to your fitting of course)

Overall a really great window fan. Really did a good job of pulling in cool air! And I liked that it was narrow too. Main reason I’m returning is because the only window I could fit it in is my bathroom window. Nice to keep my bathroom cool but I really need something in my living area. Some cons… the buttons beep loudly (especially when powering off. It’s quite obnoxious). The fact that it’s foam inserts to keep it in place/fill in the gaps on either side means you can’t move it from window to window because you have to cut the foam to size (unless your windows happen to be the same size). Also makes for a fun time when you have a torrential sideways rain storm and you have to quickly take the unit out of your window so it doesn’t get soaked (assuming since it says it’s not for outdoor use and only water resistant not proof that getting pelted with rain could ruin it..). But those are really minor things.
Works vertically with right setup.

Need a quiet bedroom fan to pull in air overnight. Love the sleek design. Actually set it up vertically. Heavy window and frame design hold it in place as well as the metal box fan it's replacing.

Breaks in the first three days!!! Bought 1 because I love a sleek low profile design and it slowed down to the sleep level of airflow within a day or two after buying new. No matter what settings I had on and how I turned it on or off or whatever it would literally not fix itself. And then I returned for a full refund and then tried once more to see if it was just a dude but the second one also slowed down and was inconsistent within the first 24 hours of having it going!!
