Vornado PivotC Personal Air Circulator Portable Fan with Multi Surface Clip

I'm rethinking purchasing the black fan due to dust. I like the air flow and design though!

Wish I could give a “negative” five stars. It’s so small that you can barely feel any breeze at all, even with your face just a few inches away. Not sure why anyone would buy this? Valuable lesson here: Don’t ever buy a fan (or “circulator”) online, just like you should never buy shoes or eyeglasses online. You need to feel it yourself, in-person, to make sure you’re not getting ripped off.

Lesson Learned: Don’t ever buy an item like this online because you’re unable to test it first. Even at the top setting, with your face two inches away from it, you barely feel ANY air blowing against you. I bought this to attach to treadmill at my gym, because it’s small and portable. I thought it would deliver a nice strong blast of air (similar to the amazing Vornado desk top fan I had for many years), I guess there’s a huge difference between a “fan” and a “personal air circulator?” Wish I could give this zero stars.

I bought two of these fans clipped onto a table about one foot from my exercise bike. Both on highest level and couldn’t feel a thing. Did not keep me cool. Only meant for very very light air flow.

I was really looking forward to getting these fans, but they're going back as they're both disappoiting with the low amount of air volume they push even at the highest setting. The high setting is more like medium or low on my other Vornado fans. On this one there's no point in the medium on low setting as they dont' do much. I exected so much more from a Vornado fan.

Not sure why Vornado would release such a poor quality product. To remotely get a decent fan intensity going, you have to use the highest setting, and the highest setting is incredibly loud for the amount of air it's pumping out. I would rather fashion a paper fan and just fan myself down manually than to use this useless crap. It's also over $24 retail which is astrocious. Buying a $10 Honeywell is wayy better.

But not nearly enough for a fan that weighs 1.6 pounds and costs this much. I have other great Vornado fans that put out great airflow in small packages so I expected no different here. But on it's highest setting you can barely feel it less than 2 feet away. So as a bedroom fan on a nightstand this is a total fail. It's heavy. It's expensive. It's underwhelming. Returned it.

Fan is good quality, but doesn’t circulate enough air.

This is perfect for me while using my sewing machine. I love the breeze that it provides to my sewing area. I have about 7 fans and 3 heaters. Vornado has a superb warranty too, as they immediately replaced my heater when I called them.

The fan is great. All three speeds are as quiet as you can expect, while still moving a comfortable amount of air. The swivel leaves something to be desired. The desk clamp is sturdy enough and holds the fan in place, but when trying to adjust the orientation, the grips on the clamp twist along with the part that is meant to twist. It is functional, but a bit of a pain to have to hold the clamp in place while also adjusting the fan. Overall it was a good purchase. It saves space on an already cramped desk by clipping to the edge, rather than sitting on top. The fan itself is the quality I would expect from Vornado. The biggest area of improvement would be the swivel. If they could include some bearings or something to make it twist a bit more smoothly and easily, it would be a 5 star product.

I had been putting off buying a fan for my desk at work as a lot of the ones I'd seen were ugly. But the summer heat finally got to me so I started looking online for a small fan that would not break the bank and did not take up too much space. I came across this little gem and thought it looked sleek and matched the modern look of our office. I especially liked the clamp idea since desk space is a premium and I didn't want anything with a large footprint. When I took this out of the box, first thing I noticed was the weight. It's not heavy, but heavier than a cheap, plastic fan. A colleague next to me said that it looked fancy and inquired about it. After a few attempts, I realized not only was I able to clamp this to my desk (as it if had a base), but also to my cubicle wall sideways and that's exactly what I did. I like how it has 3 speeds and usually I have it on the lowest speed which is pretty quiet and I am able to take phone calls with it on, but it has enough of a breeze that I am not overheating. I am considering purchasing a second one for my home office.

Bought this for my son’s bunk bed as it gets warm at the top. Easy for him to turn on and off (he’s 5). Not super quiet, not super loud. Love that the fan is adjustable (both the neck to point in exact direction as well as speed).

We have had two of these for about two weeks now. My husband and I love them very much. Would definitely recommend!

it's a small fan but it moves a good amount of air. three speeds. nice screw clamp that is padded rubber for no marking. definitely worth it

I hate air blowing on my bare skin. The Vornado circulates the air in a way that is not irritating at all, feels like a natural breeze. I keep it by my bed for my nightly hot flashes. It feels great and is very quiet. I just bought a 2nd one for my boat.

I got this to replace a broken clip fan in my bathroom because I liked the design and had great results with Vornado products in the past. after getting it set up, I was surprised by how much quieter this fan was when compared to my old one and enjoy the air output while I'm getting ready in the morning. Highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a fan for small areas where there's a lack of countertop or floor space for fan.
