Vornado VH202 Personal Indoor Space Heater Black: Small Electric Heater, 2 Settings, 100-300 sq. ft. Coverage, 750W Output

I bought this in November of 2024 to replace a 7 year old machine that was out of warranty. The VH202 is now slightly heavier & much quieter. Cosmetically looks the same; but more stable. Hoping it lasts as long as the last one. I use it to heat a 22’ x 10’ room all Winter. I like to be warm, while the rest of the family likes their areas cooler. Occasionally I’ve used it to heat the entire house when furnace was out for 3 days. Kept entire house over 64° on High Setting for 3 days.

I am disappointed. The heater doesn’t get very hot, thus I am not as warm as I wish when I use it. I expected better from this company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado VH202 Personal Space Heater is awesome! It heats up a room without making the air feel too hot or suffocating. I even use it in my living room over the central air heat, as it’s just as effective but less expensive to run. It has an automatic shut off for safety. It also has two different heat mode settings and one mode for air circulation. This is nice if you don’t want heat, but do want white noise. As you can see it’s the perfect portable size. I was planning on testing it out in the downstairs bedroom, as it's always a bit colder in there because the old heater no longer works properly. I set up this heater on top of the other heating element (you can see in the video/picture) I have a mini thermometer/humidity meter that I placed in the room, for about an hour to allow for the thermometer to read the correct temperature in the room. Then I turned the heater on low and checked the temperature after 30 minutes, so I could get an idea as to how long it may take the heater to sufficiently heat up any room of that size. The temperature went up 6° in 30 min. As soon as I walked in the room, I immediately noticed the warmth and that the chill was completely gone. There are 3 settings on the heater, that are easy to change as needed; LOW/FAN/HIGH. There is also an awesome safety feature located on the bottom of the heater. When the heater is powered on, and running; if the heater is lifted, or tipped over the heater instantly turns off. The heater itself is very small, light and easy to transport from one area to the next, which is nice that I don't need to use both hands to move from one place to another. It's the perfect addition to my small bedroom as it heats up quick enough to take the chill off at any moment I need it. I will also be taking this heater on the road with us, for our work weekends so we don’t have to freeze in our dressing rooms (as we did this weekend). First thing my husband said, as I complained about our dressing room being without heat… “We should start bringing that heater with us on the road!” I may have to consider purchasing one for home use since we’ll be using this one for our gig weekends. Highly recommend this heater; heats an average sized bedroom quickly, safety feature is brilliant, works well and it’s easy to carry with very little weight. Love this thing!

I am very cold natured and always freeze when i’m getting ready in the morning because my boyfriend is hot natured. This makes my feet so toasty. I’ll even sit on the ground and do my makeup just to be directly in front of it. It’s great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Michigan and it can get chilly. I love this tiny footprint heater that really kicks out the heat and keeps me nice and toasty! It also has great safety features and has a switch on the bottom to shut off if it gets tipped over. This is actually on the list of approved heaters by my corporate employer allowed in the office if I wanted to take it in. I sit on a ton of conference calls so a quiet heater is a must! This delivers great heat that is safe and quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The little space heater works great I’ve been thinking about getting one for my shed, my son and I like to hang out in the shed and during winter it gets really cold so we don’t stay out as much as we would like too. The heater has a self shut off if it gets tipped over and if it detects excessive heat. It has good weight to it and the triangle design looks as if it won’t tip over so easily. I ran it on its highest setting because I wanted to make sure it cool to the touch like it say it is especially if it going to be floor and it was. The highest setting also didn’t feel too harsh. Overall I really like it since I will be using it for my son playing area. Would be perfect for office use, my husband was eyeing it for work office.

I bought one in late 2016. It stoppped working in early 2019, a bit over 2 years old. It just stopped working with no warning. It had a 5 year warranty. They did send me a new one after I sent a picture of the old one with the cord cut off. We've used that for four winters and now it stopped just like the previous one. My heaters from other manufacturers in this price range tend to be more durable.

I tried using it in my living room, but the area is a bit too big unless it is directly in front of you. I tried it in my bedroom and it worked decent in there. This would be nice under a desk, so it is more enclosed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From a distance it doesn’t feel like it’s blowing hot air it’s more warm air. Up close I can tell it’s warm/hot air. Still quite nice and I can tell there is a difference between the settings. Small so definitely not going to heat up a whole room even if it’s small room but benefit is that it’s portable. Has an edge to hold/lift. A bit heavy. I’d probably still recommend it but depends on the situation.

This cold weather has been brutal and this space heater is amazing, it keeps me warm and also has like a built-in safety mode which turns the heater off if it isn’t flat. Meaning that, if it falls or stumbles over, it wouldn’t cause any danger or fire because it would turn off!

It has all of the safety features it should and so easy to just pick and move and plug in! We love it and are so glad we were able to receive it and leave a review.

I put this heater in that bathroom and within 10 minutes the bathroom was just as warm as the rest of the house! I also love the tip over protection! I will be using this heater every morning while I get ready for my day!
