This is one of the worst products I have ever bought in my entire life. The unit constantly disconnect and it's never the same issue. It always happens at the most inopportune times such as right after going to sleep or in the middle of the night. The direct connect signal does not work across our home. I have reached out to their support team multiple times and never been happy with the results.

The monitor feed comes in and out, but most of the time it is so pixelated we cannot see our babies features clearly. This happens even in the room over from our baby. The feed is so horrible it is dangerous.

The tilt/pan options allow you to see a large amount of space. I like using the screen over the app as it just takes up precious space on my phone but it is nice for when I am away from home. I prefer closed systems over wifi for security reasons but think this is a great option while away from your house.

I found the dashboard/control handheld difficult to figure out and needing to restart often to get the best usage. I loved the ability to move the camera around and sound/night vision was great. If they fix the app, this would be a 5 star.

I had a very similarly branded one before this monitor, and it actually recently stopped working. I wish I would have gone with vtech from the start! Like holy cow, it is so simple and streamlined your mom and dad and whoever can figure it out. The giant screen is BEAUTIFUL and crisp, and the picture is great. We have a toddler now, so we move this around the house where we need it because he gets into everything, and it is so helpful. We can also drop it off at the grandparents' house on those rare occasions and it's not a problem getting set up. It's so easy and feels very high quality. VTech is just a brand name you can trust and I won't be making the mistake of going with another brand again.

Offers great features and camera swivels to show whole room easily. Big screen monitor for easy viewing. Two way talk is also a nice thing to have. With WiFi can be anywhere in house or yard as the range isn’t limited. Battery lasts fairly long and can see well even in black room. The kickstand for the monitor doesn’t actually hold the monitor up is one other failing. Overall decent product.

The night vision is optional. The features are another incredible addition. It has a plethora of options you can chose from sounds, lights, lullabies, songs, and even different types of alerts. The battery life of the monitor is good, not incredible but understanding it’s a huge monitor makes a difference. Overall, this product is incredible!

I like that you can use this with WiFi or not and the monitor is large! The stand on the back of the parent monitor should be wider because it constantly falls over. I also notice I have connection issues by certain electronics, but overall it works well.

I liked the option to have both a physical monitor and also app on my phone. The physical monitor is so large and heavy. It’s about the size of an iPad mini. This monitor offers many features like a night light, sound machine and large clear screen but the battery life is terrible and the night vision camera is also not good. The monitor also takes a while to respond when you wake up the screen. The app is nice to have but once again the camera lacks a good view when the room is really dark.

This has been the most frustrating monitor ever. I spent good money for it to lose connection ALLLL the time and to make noises when it loses connection which wake up my son. It’s so inconvenient infuriating. I could be IM THE SAME room with both monitor and camera and it won’t work. My sister in law has a monitor that’s lasted her 2 babies 5 years apart and hers STILL works perfectly (not sure the brand). Mine is 1 year old and has worked for me MAYBE 2-3 times. Totally regret making the investment.

This is a two-way. You can talk to your baby. It has a video sensor and a rechargeable battery. I love watching my baby sleep or play. This is amazing. It also has a touch adaptive night light on it. Wow, we love it! Especially the temperature sensor .

This monitor loses connection CONSTANTLY. And when it does, the camera turns on a bright red light, which is NOT ideal for a sleeping baby. I purchased this based on a Wirecutter recommendation and I'm so disappointed. It ruined 2 naps today and any parent knows how irritating that is. We JUST purcahsed it and it's going back. Absolute garbage.

One of the standout features of this monitoring system is its impressive 7" screen. I have a one story house and the range works from both far ends of the house. The video quality is sharp and clear, and both the app and the monitor allow for zooming in without losing any detail. I appreciate the ability to tilt and pan the camera, which lets me see every corner of the room as needed. Initially, I experienced some connection issues, but it is now functioning. During the day, I prefer using the app since my phone is always close at hand, making it convenient for on-the-go access. However, at night, I switch to the monitor because it’s easier to use for our nighttime routine. One of the features I lenjoy is the two-way talk function. While we don’t really need the temperature and motion alerts for our toddler, I think they would be beneficial for a newborn. My toddler especially enjoys the nightlight feature, which can be activated through the app, the monitor, or directly on the camera with different color options. This system is packed with useful features, and while it works well for our toddler, I feel it would be even more advantageous for an infant, given its focus on child safety. I would definitely recommend this baby monitor to anyone looking for remote access capabilities.
