Q: Is there an indicator light that tells you when the filter needs to be replaced?
A: Hello Airen LW - Great question the Water Filtration Pitcher Navy 7 cup Capacity - up & up™ dose not have a indicator light. For optimum performance, replace the filter after 40 gallons or approximately once every 2 months.Hope this helps - David
submitted byDavid - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: Hi Airen, thanks for your question! There isn't a light but there is a date/calendar on top that can be set to a date on the future when the filter needs to be changed. The filter lasts for 40 gallons, so depending on how much water you use it will last between 2-3 months. Thanks again!

Q: where should the water line be on the side of the pitcher below the blue filter holder when it is full? Is there a video showing how to fill and filter the correct amount? How m
A: Hi Racheal, thanks for shopping for up&up products! There isn't a "fill to" line on the pitcher. When water goes into the hopper (the top part) then filters into the reservoir below. When no more water can go into the hopper, it's full. Also, it isn't necessary to always keep it "full". Just put water in the top part as you see fit.
