Westcott® iPoint Ball Battery Electric Pencil Sharpener for #2 Pencils - For Home, School & Work

The lead of the pencils is constantly breaking off and jamming the machine so it doesn’t sharpen the pencil. After two months even when I pry the lead out of the sharpener it doesn’t sharpen the pencil at all. Total waste of money.

There is zero stress with this product, I usually have to use a pocket knife to sharpen my pencil. This pencil sharpener has made my life a lot easier.

It doesn't take too much force, or your pencil will get chewed up. I wouldn't recommend this for younger kids. I love the cute design and will use this on my desk at home. Not as effective as a handheld unit. It works best sitting on a hard surface. I think this will be fine for light use, but wouldn't be durable enough for heavy use. I enjoy the cordless aspect of this product. This is lightweight and very portable for use all over the house. It is easy to clean the cup that holds the shavings fits well, but is easy to remove and empty.

She must have sharpened over a hundred pencils since receiving this sharpener. Battery life seems to be good as it is running strong on the same set of batteries since receiving this product which was a month ago. Its does what they advertise sharpen pencils. I like that it has a nice heft to it. The construction seems very good. I expect this product to last for the rest of my daughters educational years. I would even use this in a professional setting as well.

Sometimes the point wasn’t super sharpe or it seemed to need extra time to get it sharp, but overall it worked well for the value. And my young kids found it easy to use.

No need to press down hard on the pencil. Just put in the pencil and let this sharpener do it's thing. It creates a perfect point every time.

It is sharpens fairly well but sometimes the pencil sticks when sharpening. Also, it runs on AA batteries but it takes 4 which I feel is too many. Overall I like the look and style and it does sharpen well.
