Westcott® iPoint Heavy Duty School Sharpener

My kids frequently like to sharpen their pencils and this product lives up to the task. I like how easy it is to sharpen different size pencils and it is easy to empty. A great product for any teacher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With my kids learning from home, we deal with a lot of broken pencils. This pencil sharpener is perfect for that. We had an older electric pencil sharpener, but it does not come close to the efficiency of this one.

I have used numerous sharpeners for class instruction over the years. This sharpener can accommodate many sizes of pencils and automatically stops when the pencil is sharpened. This is a wonderful product!

II allow my students to use the pencil sharpener and I like that it has an auto-stop which prevents the children from over-sharpening their pencils. I definitely need that in my 1st grade classroom! There are 6 holes for different sizes of pencils. I almost wish there weren't! My kiddos are always messing them them. It appears to be a heavy duty pencil sharpener and my students are loving to sharpen their own pencils right now. There is a 10 year warranty on this pencil sharpener... According to the packaging, certain limitations apply... I can't imagine any pencil sharpener lasting more than a year in my classroom. :-)

This is great for my kids and is durable enough to handle a classroom of kids. The sharpener is quiet and makes a great tip for pencils. Easy to use and clean out when full. Great product.

This Westcott iPoint electric pencil sharpener is fantastic. It sharpens pencils very quickly and evenly and seems to be staying sharp. I also like the easily adjustable size guide. It is very heavy, which keeps it from moving around during use. All in all a great purchase.

I love the feature of being able to use different pencil sizes. I teach Preschool and we use the larger pencils. It makes my job as a teacher easier and that is a big plus.

I love the automatic stop feature! I also loved that it has the different sizes. My son had primary pencils and it was hard to find a sharpener. I had to send a box to school for the teacher to sharpen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sharpener is perfect for our Kindergarten class. It fits many size pencils, which is great for the larger Kindergarten sized pencils. It is quiet, not like the old noisy ones. The best part is that it automatically stops when the pencil is sharp! Gone are the days of students grinding their pencils into stubs in a single sharpening!
