Description
The powerful 16” 14.5 Amp Electric Chainsaw is packed with modern conveniences that make it easy to use. The auto-tensioning and auto-lubrication systems make sure this saw is always in peak operating condition. These features provide the user with a perfectly tightened and well-oiled chain, which not only significantly increases the cutting efficiency, but also extends the life of the tool. And the built-in oil tank has a window, so you can see just how much oil you have left. The chain brake shuts the chain down quickly when you need it to. The metal spike bumper grabs into the wood so you have a safer, smoother cut. And the specially designed full-wrap front handle and rear rubber grip give you options to find a comfortable hand-hold. This saw has a 14” cord. The extension cord holder keeps them out of the way and lets you unravel more as you need to. And it’s only 11 lbs without the oil, so anyone can carry it around the yard and use it for long periods.
The 14.5 Amp motor uses a 120V~60 Hz power supply and spins the chain at 32 ft/s. The 16” chain will fell a standing tree of 16” in diameter and easily cut up a 30” log that is already on the ground. That chain has 57 links, and a pitch of 3/8”, and a gauge of 0.05”. This is a rugged chainsaw, made so that anyone can tackle backyard projects with confidence.

I own 4 chainsaws. 3 electric and one gas. This worx saw is my favorite saw to use. It's a cutting fool. The easy chain tension especially without tools is a great accessory to this saw. I put an 18" bar and chain on it.

I use a gas powered Echo for more challenging cuts. Occasional use of both saws. This is nice because i don't have to pull the cord to get it started. Not nearly as powerful as the bigger gas Echo but that is expected. The chain has given me problems before. This time it popped off and a link is jammed. Need to go and buy an Oregon chain. Hope this fixes the problem. The other problem is it leaks oil. I keep it in my basement on a roofing shingle to keep the oil off the floor.

I have had mine 16" electric saw for about 4 years now. It's a cutting fool! I've never had any trouble with it. I used to help cut up my 53 foot pine tree last weekend.

I have owned and used this chainsaw heavily for over three years. I have performed routine maintenance and replaced bars and chains as needed. The saw worked great until the chain drive sprocket wore out. I have searched for a replacement sprocket to no avail. It is time to throw the saw in the trash. .

I purchased this saw two or three years ago ... it doesn't get much use ... I cut the odd branch. But this year, I had some pretty heavy duty (and expensive) damage done to trees in my yard due to an ice storm and to a wind storm. I had to cut down branches which were about 20 inches in diameter. This saw cut through branches and tree stumps like a knife in butter. It was sincerely effortless. The picture you see took just under 2 hours of effort. to complete. Great little saw!

The first Worx tool I ever got was the blower and that's all it took! I now own the Worx blower, the Worx hedge trimmer, Worx Switch Driver, Worx Screw Driver, Worx Pole/Chain Saw, four single chargers and one double charger. I love these tools. Priced right, they work flawlessly all day long. The Pole/Chain Saw is powerful, cuts through wood like a knife through hot butter! It is quiet, yet very powerful and the pole is strong and easy to attach and detach from the Saw. The pole length is perfect for easily cutting limbs while staying safely on the ground. My neighbor loved my Worx tools so much that we started getting him a Worx tool for Birthdays and Christmas! So far, he has the Worx Switch Driver with battery and charger and recently we got him the hedge trimmer with battery and charger. After all...I got kinda tired of him borrowing mine all the time! Thanks for a reliable, affordable, hard working line of tools.

So we bought this to start taking down some trees in our backyard and it goes through like butter. No oil needed to be continuously added brushless amazing little thing that has so much power.

After using electric chain saws for 40 years to cut down many trees, I can state that for genera l use, they perform almost as well as gas if used correctly. The secret to any chainsaw especially an electric saw is a sharp chain. The Worx 16" electric has got to be among the beat. I have 4 saws and use them all the time for home use.

Chainsaw worked great until the motor brushes wore out. Worx no longer sells replacement brushes for this product (part # 50020308). So basically, when the brushes fail (they well wear out), you basically toss the chainsaw.

This little saw smoothly cut thru a 5” limb yesterday, normally use on just smaller limbs but thought I’d give it a go, it was impressive. Take care of your tools and they will take care of any job!

Are you kidding me ? I have been using gas powered chainsaws for 20 years. Always running out of gas or having to spend an hour prepping the saw to do an hours worth of work. The WORX14.5 AMP Electric chainsaw is perfect ! Plug the cord in and get the job done.
