Q: How best to remove coffee stain from the carafe? Soap and water, white vinegar and water or top of dishwasher did not do it.

A: I use bleach water, wash it out, then run it thru the dishwasher. crystal clear!

A: #4 cone. Mine came with a reusable gold tone filter (no promises that the current models come with one). DO NOT use them both at the same time.

This is the 2nd one I've bought and both have overheated within the first year. Started beeping and wouldn't shut off. Next thing I know it's making a popping crackling sound. I had to rush the whole thing outside due to the smoke and burning plastic smell. It even melted the plastic around the bottom of the warming pad and lifted it. I'm so glad I caught it in time!

I have been a coffee drinker my whole life. I need the best most high end pot maker there is. While not in the crazy espresso maker category. I have used cuisinart my whole life. After ten years it crapped out. I've had a ninja blender for years and this brand was on sale and fit all the specs I needed. This coffee maker has blown my mind. I've had it for over a year, and it has exceeded expectations and Cuisinart. I highly recommend. And it Is now about half the price I paid for it. This is the best coffee maker I've owned. And I thought I needed a $250 Cuisinart over ten years ago. Products have evolved. This one is better.

At first I loved this coffee maker for the ease of filling the water reservoir and great looks. But after a year, I have very different thoughts. First of all, the water reservoir smells like moldy swamp water even after cleaning. Then, the glass carafe has a black plastic funnel for the brewed coffee to fill the pot and if you don't completely take apart the pot, the black plastic grows black mold! My husband and I were having increasing problems and thought our coffee was bad and that we had mold in our home. Nope. It was the coffee pot itself. I don't understand the black plastic funnel thing going into the pot anyways.

After 2 months use, still happy. Attaching the carafe lid takes some getting used to. The "end of brew" beep is insanely annoying and is the only reason this did not earn 5 stars. 5 loud beeps at the end of the cycle cannot be disabled. There are YouTube videos showing owners how to disassemble and deactivate the beep (it's that annoying). Some users showed pictures of the clock display going bad - mine appears to be an improved version, looks slightly different. Maybe they fixed this issue.

I have purchased this coffee maker twice in the last year. The first coffee maker melted under the pot and stopped working after only a few months. I thought it was a one time thing so I purchased the same model again. It's been 6 months and the second coffee maker wouldn't stop beeping, I smelled burning plastic and found that the area under the pot melted again. I will not purchase Ninja coffee makers anymore.

The first pot will be brewed, and then the machine will not brew again until it has cooled down. There are so many technical issues with this machine. Ninja usually makes reliable products, but they failed with the coffee maker.

The coffee maker over all is OK. However I like my coffee hot and this coffee maker doesn't brew to hot and you have to leave the coffee sitting on the burner so the coffee gets hot enough or microwave it. I'm my opinion if the water is not hot enough the flavor is not as great. Also the canister where you put the water leaks.

Followed the directions, turned on the power, and it just incessantly beeps. This isn't covered in the troubleshooting guide. Ninja technical support agreed that this is was a quality defect, then asked me for $25 to replace it under warranty. Never buying anything from Ninja ever again.

I had this coffee maker for less than 3 years and this morning the boiler plate melted. Thankfully it has an alarm (hence me giving it 3 stars) so no fire was started, but it is now unusable. My Mr. coffee pot (cheaper) lasted a decade. I’m seeing others with similar quality issues. It was great while lasted, but at that price not worth it for 3 years.

We have very hard water and regular coffee pots never last more than 1 year. Have had this going on 4 years and have never had a problem. I fill the reservoir with vinegar once clean 1 time a month, and fill it with water once clean clean after. It still works like new. I would buy again if my current one stopped working.

It is a nice looking coffee maker, great design, but the coffee is not hot, just luke warm. So they think it is piping hot, not at all! I usually put 2 ice cubes in my cup, this I can pick up and drink with no ice. Returning it, have had it for just two days.
